"Location was great with easy access to I75 and restaurants and gas stations. The patking lot was lit very well with no safety concerns. The hotel and room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. "

"The exterior and lobby were nice. Pool and lake view were also very nice. The room interior was a bit outdated, especially the bathroom/tub. Our microwave did not work and the coffee maker did not work. We stopped by check-in on the morning of our 2nd day and told them. We returned in the evening and nothing had been done. We stopped by check-in again and the clerk took care of it immediately and the microwave and coffee maker were replaced - Unfortunately it made us late for our dinner with our son's family. The day of check-out, there was a bug (silverfish?) in the tub. Also, the ice makers were broken on 2nd floor, only one working was near the pool. It's unfortunate so many things were broken. "

"Room had a stale smell..and no way to vent, as the bathroom fan did not work. Breakfast was a plus. Ms Pearl was most helpful keeping breakfast hot and ready for hotel guest."

"The room was clean. Nice selection for for breakfast foods. Staff was very nice. Just be aware that there is no elevator for the 2nd floor rooms.."

"1. The room that we stayed in was a handicapped room - we didn't request it - we were assigned to it. CLEARLY, service animals have stayed in that room because it STUNK of DOG. We kept the AC down much more than comfortable just to try and reduce the smell. 2. The water pressure in the shower was a trickle. The shower head was a handheld, so not sure if that was a factor, but it took a long time to rinse. 3. Most of the included amenities were missing/out. There was no shampoo, body wash or tissues in the room and none were replenished each day during out 4-night stay, even though we had the room cleaned each day. 4. Two of the three ice machines on the property were broken and the female at the front desk wasn't any help. She went into the kitchen area looking for ice but came out empty handed, even though there was a large pitcher of iced, flavored water for guests to enjoy, so clearly, there was an ice source somewhere."
