"We really liked our stay at the Arcadian. It was clean, quiet, and had super comfortable beds. The area felt safe and more on the quiet side. It’s also very close to the greenline metro stops, Kent St is closest. We used it frequently and took it to a game at Fenway. I’m glad I read carefully about the “no window” to the outside, so I wasn’t caught off guard. There was a window to the inside of the hotel, which was great. We didn’t miss having an outside window at all. The only reason I gave amenities 4 stars was our “tiny toilet”. It was so close to the ground, like 18-24”! It was a squatty potty! There was a handle to help you get up and down. It was fine for us, but could be a problem and could definitely catch some older residents off guard. Otherwise we were super happy with our stay!! I would highly recommend this hotel in Boston!"

"Got a call the morning we were supposed to check in saying we would receive a free upgrade to 2 double beds instead of the one king bed we originally booked. This was great news. However, when we arrived the lady at the front desk said she’s not sure who we talked to but we cannot get upgraded to a double for our length of stay (6 days). Not sure how that made sense. If they never promised us this it wouldn’t have been an issue - just a little disappointed. The bed was a little hard for my liking but the room was very clean and the room service always made sure we had fresh towels. The room was also very quiet- I never heard any other guests despite all the kids staying for the weekend. Breakfast was good- there was a waffle machine which was fun. Pool was very clean compared to other hotels I’ve been to. Overall a good stay and would return if I was in the area!"

"This was shameful! They had the AC on and "couldn't turn it off" while it was in the 40s at night...supposedly they turn it on in May and can't switch it to heat or turn it off!!! They had a fireplace where you could see many people huddled around bfr they went to bed at night. There should be a notification on the website in advance....I paid over 900 dollars for three nights (that was with the measly discount of 15% off). They had college kids at the reception desk and some "mysterious manager" who they would call to address my and other customers concerns. They had no extra blankets. I literally had my face under the covers that's how cold it was at night. The tv was broken both nights and the shower looked like they put pure plastic over an existing bathtub. Luckily I took a shower before my 82 year old mother did so I could warn her about how slippery it was. No bath mat...horrific! Do not go here!!!"

"The Revolution Hotel has a beautiful and stylish lobby with a modern vibe. However, for guests who need to work remotely, the seating arrangements are not very practical. The high chairs around the tables are quite uncomfortable for extended periods, and while the sofas are more comfortable, they are not suitable for working with a laptop. The room itself was extremely small, and the bathroom layout was also inconvenient and uncomfortable. While the hotel has a trendy atmosphere and may appeal to younger travelers, I would not recommend it for guests in our age group. It seems much better suited for people in their twenties or early thirties who prioritize location and style over comfort and space. Overall, the hotel has a youthful, boutique feel and an attractive common area, but for mature travelers looking for comfort, functionality, and a more spacious room, there are better options available in Boston.
