Royal Hotel is the perfect location to visit Versailles. It was an 8 minute walk to the gate. It is family-owned, and the hostess was friendly and helpful. The room was just what we needed--a hot shower and very comfortable bed. Morning buffet had wonderful pastries, coffees, juices, and charcuterie. Highly recommend.

Excellent séjour à l’hôtel, tout était parfait. La chambre était spacieuse, très calme avec une literie incroyablement confortable. Le spa était super propre avec tout ce qu’il faut pour se détendre et le restaurant avec des produits de qualité. Le service et la gentillesse du personnel est vraiment à souligner. Loved my stay. My first time in Paris. The hotel location is across from Metro which was convenient for me to travel into Paris city center.

Quiet and clean and close to SNCF train as well as about 10 minute walk from RER C, which stops about two blocks from Chateau Versailles. The staff was incredibly helpful. Just around corner is a litte local marche for waters, etc. There is a Boulangerie, a Fromagerie, boutiques and such. Near the RER is a street with great restaurants to the side of the Chateau. I was in the area to visit the Palace of Versailles and gardens. I stayed two nights. It was nice, cute and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had a good breakfast there every morning. My room was a little bit small but I expected that because it is a very old building and I have heard rooms in Paris and surrounding areas are normally a little small. A perfect respite from the urban pace of Paris. Walk for hours in the beautiful woods surrounding the hotel; eat in the outstanding, Michelin-starred restaurant; look out over the ponds that Corot painted.

Had a really nice one-night stay with my family of four in June. The AC was amazing with temps around 100. The room was comfortable and kids had fun with bunk bed area they had. Room was clean and shower was great after a day sightseeing and sweating. Would stay here again.
