"Terrible check-in process (didn't receive the codes for access to the hostel and room, and host was difficult to deal with, insisting that the codes had been sent to me, but hadn't), but overall nice place in Lourdes within easy walking distance of the shrine and close to shops and train station. "

"I ended up visiting/seeing the property and the booked room but not staying there. Firstly, all rooms are located on the second floor that are accessed by a wide but a very steep staircase. After climbing it to see the room, I understood that I won't be able to get my suitcase up the stairs and that each time leaving the room and getting back will be very difficult and hazardous for me. There is no elevator or lift. Secondly, the property is located remotely in a very rural area in the 15km...

"I cannot recommend Raf and Marleen highly enough! They made us feel so welcome and really went above and beyond! The villa was stunning but felt like home and our children loved playing in the pool all day! Even our dog enjoyed exploring and meeting new friends. This really was the perfect holiday for us. "The Padoue Hotel was comfortable and clean, with helpful staff. It is wonderfully located, just a short walk to the Grotto and Basilica. It rained most of the time we were in Lourdes, and thank goodness the Padoue was so well situated. Also, the lights went out in Lourdes and emergency lighting on the stairs was very helpful. One comment though: the free parking is a bit difficult to find if you are not familiar with Lourdes. It would have been more convenient to pay for street parking just in front of the hotel."
