What stood out with staying here was how peaceful it was. It’s an adorable place and we felt at home and very relaxed. I wanted to set up a chair and sit by the pond but unfortunately, due to the cold/windy weather, that did not happen. Next time. It is walking distance to Main St. in Julian. Also, anytime we asked a question it was answered within minutes! Highly recommend this place!

Serene, quiet space with more than enough room for two people. The location relative to downtown Julian is perfect during the busy season, as you can avoid majority of the traffic that occurs near Julian Orchard Ranch and still access downtown Julian within minutes. Would absolutely stay here again.
Our second time staying here. It was great just like the last time. Very clean great location only thing different. This time is the pond was dried up. Other than that it’s a great place. We will be staying again. Julian was a pretty cool little town on Halloween night

Loved my stay here. Place was exactly as advertised. Perfect space and the host was very communicative. Loved the nearby wineries and the proximity to Anza Borrego park.
Great place to relax. Near town, quiet and peaceful with everything you need. Little things like the vinyl record player and telescope made it even better! Stairs are a little steep and the well water has a bit of an odor, but nothing that would keep us from planning to return to this great place.
This was a perfect space for my husband and I. It provided us with everything that we needed. Jason, is an excellent host and I really appreciated his communication and his availability and you cant beat the location!
Everythihg was as described, we loved the place and the area around. It would be mayne slightly longer than just a short walk to downtown julian but its very walkable. Everything about it was awesome.
We enjoyed our stay and really appreciated the attentiveness of our host. It was a nice place with a beautiful view. My son absolutely loved playing records on the phonograph! We would definitely stay there again.
This place was very clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. It was off the main path, but not too far from everything. Perfect place for a quiet little getaway.
The spot was perfect for us! It was a great size and so close to main street - which is where we spent most of our time. We were able to go back and forth for any reason with ease, and even beat crowds in the mornings. The place was very clean and very private! We especially loved the telescope! Highly recommend this stay!
Everything on the property was amazingly clean, the property manager Jason was amazingly easy to communicate with and very accommodating to our needs/questions. I recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful night(s), away from loud noise and city lights.
My family really enjoyed our stay in this cabin! There was adequate kitchen supplies and ample bedding, pillows, etc. We also enjoyed the games and record collection! The location across from nickel beer co and a 15 min walk to town was perfect! The place was clean, and the host checked in a couple of times to see how we were doing. All and all a great vacation spot!
We enjoyed a long weekend at this charming and cozy A-frame. The kitchenette had everything we needed to make breakfast. We especially enjoyed eating on the small patio overlooking the pond and listening to the vinyl collection. Julian's Main Street was a 3 min drive away and Nickel Beer Brewery was a short walk across the street. The host was helpful and responsive. We look forward to staying here again in the future.
Jason is a wonderful host and his little apartment at the top of the stairs was a perfect getaway for me. The location is perfect, just outside town. I would definitely come back.

It was a great place for my visit to Anzo Borego State Park. Quick drive down the hill for all my activities. The town of Julian is perfect for a couple day stay. The entire space seems recently renovated and the host was very responsive. Will definitely stay again!

Quaint, comfortable, clean and perfectly situated cabin a few minute drive from the city center. The cabin was well stocked with kitchen equipment, a barbecue and board games to play with the family. The view of the small lake from the patio was an added advantage. We would highly recommend staying here.
Over all we enjoyed our stay there. It was peaceful no loud traffic, no noisy people at night time. Just the sound of silence and the wind. You are close to the little town and plenty of good restaurants to eat at.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jason’s rental. The location was great everything was about 10min away or less. We could even walk to places if you wanted to. There was a cool back area where we would walk each morning. And a cool brewery right across the street called Nickel Beer. The stars are unreal at night even from the patio . We will definitely be back again soon. Thank you Jason!
Very cozy A frame not far from Julian town center and convenient to Nickel Beer co. Jason is very responsive when contacted. Bed was comfortable and the open windows let a beautiful crosswind for night sleeping. Home is well stocked with all you need for a short stay. Loved that it was pet friendly.
This is our 4th stay...we love everything about it. It is a clean, cozy, beautiful get away. Tucked away by a pond, and perfect for our family of 3. Thanks to the property owner Jadon for being so accommodating, friendly and professional!
