Segovia Lodge Junction TX I -10

"Easy off and back on the freeway, walking distance to the convenience store and food places inside of it along with gas The '''Lodge''' itself is not high class or white glove clean, its rustic, and used. But the two rooms I've had during both stays within two months were clean, great water pressure and hot water, firm bed if you like that, I carry a foam pad with me on my long drives as each place the beds are different, I like softer. Floors were clean I walked barefoot. Cold fridge and small microwave were perfect as I travel with my own foods due to dietary issues. They do not have an ice machine, but the convenience store does. For me its the convenience of parking, so wonderful right out front of the door, great lighting and they have camera's everywhere. Donato, the manager is so fun & offers advice on good places to shop and eat nearby.... I was injured on vacation and had to head home early, and this trip he unloaded my car for me (such a gentleman). Again, this not a high class sort of motel-hotel... Its like a Motor Inn. Some things were rusty in my room, but everything worked... No iron, ironing board or hair dryer... all those things I don't use anyway and the price was super low. The bed has sheets and a coverlet, no thick blankets but the rooms heater and A/C work fast and good. I used A/C on my first stay, and heat this second stay a month later. Give it a try, just let Donato know if you need ANYTHING. From my experiences there, they want you to be comfy."

"Enjoyed the breakfast it had a variety of food. Enjoyed the Mexican breakfast and the tortillas that were served each morning. Also enjoyed the beans and the potatoes."

"Overall, our stay went well. The staff was great! The property was nice and the condo was generally nice but we do have a few things we feel could have been better. When we entered the condo, there was an overwhelming scent. It wasn’t a bad scent, but it was synthetic. We had to open windows and air the place out. The condo was nice and clean with the exception of the bottom of the shower where it met the glass. That was pretty nasty. We were disappointed to find out upon arrival that the workout facility was closed. They were also doing repairs on the stairs outside of our condo so they could not be used. I feel there was plenty of availability. They could’ve put us in a different room."

"This motel is functional and clean enough for a one night stay when traveling through this area. If you’re looking for a pool - this isn’t it. It was not open. We also didn’t try the breakfast since it looked more basic than at most places. The gentleman at the front desk was pleasant and friendly. Check in was smooth. The bathroom in the room had been upgraded and the room was old but clean. The room had a giant closet so if someone were traveling with a baby, it would be an excellent spot to set up a pack and play."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Azul! From the moment we arrived, the house felt warm, welcoming, comfortable, and perfect for our family. It was incredibly clean, beautifully kept, and had plenty of room for everyone to relax, gather, cook, eat, laugh, and just enjoy being together.This trip was especially meaningful for us because we were celebrating our daughter’s 27th birthday while also getting to spend precious time with my 92-year-old grandfather, who traveled all the way from North Carolina. We were even able to have five generations of our family together under one roof, which made this stay something we will truly never forget.Casa Azul became part of those memories, and that made it so much more than just a place to stay. We shared meals, celebrated, told stories, looked through old photos, and made memories we will treasure forever.The host was wonderful, thoughtful, and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable from start to finish. We can say with complete confidence that we will stay here again. Casa Azul now holds a very special place in our hearts. Highly recommend!"

"This was an amazing and unforgettable weekend for everyone from Nana to the one year old and everyone in between. We loved all of the activities and the pool right next to the kitchen cabana is so beautiful and really creates a space for open ended conversation and laughter's. When the sun goes down and all the lights light up the property and you can tell every single detail was thought out all the way through the cabins the layouts the property through and through and the amenities were endless."
