Property is in middle of renovating some of the other guest rooms, but that should not stop you from staying here. Staff is super helpful and very friendly. Rooms are spacious, beds are very comfortable!

The staff was amazing! The hotel is newly renovated and the restaurant is being renovated. It is about a 20-25 minute walk to downtown Juneau. I would stay here again.

I wish we knew that the restaurant was under renovation when we booked. But the location was nice… far enough away from the cruise ships… I do recommend a rental car if you are not on a cruise. Uber gets pricey.

This hotel is newly renovated and is possibly the nicest hotel in Juneau. The new owners put a lot into this. Rooms are spacious. All counters, desks headboard were handmade with locally sources lumber. Beds are comfy. Nice little kitchenette in each room. I would definitely stay here again and you should too.

We loved this property. We are walkers so we didn’t mind the 22 minute walk to the main touristy area. The hotel doesn’t look like much on the outside, but the interior is completely remodeled. We loved all the high end finishes. I especially loved the comfy bed, pillows, and large bathroom/shower. We had a sea facing view which was noisy due to the hwy, but we walked 12 miles + per day, so we fell asleep even with the noise level. We would stay again!

Stayed at The Waterfront for a conference in June. The staff were LOVELY - very upbeat, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are quite pretty and the beds are comfortable. The floor of my room had some stray dirt and wrappers, likely just missed during house cleaning (everything else, including the sheets and bathroom, was very clean), which is what led to the 3/5 star cleanliness rating. Parking is super easy, it’s just out front. The hotel was undergoing some construction when I stayed there, but it was never a bother. There was however some road noise, as the major road through Juneau passes right next to the hotel. It probably wouldn’t have been an issue if I was on the other side of the hotel though (and I would have missed out on beautiful sunset views of the harbor). The gym is pretty basic, just some free weights and a couple of machines, but if you’re in Juneau for outdoor stuff it shouldn’t matter much.

Newly renovated hotel with a small gym area and a beautiful sea view. The building may still be under construction in some areas. The floors or walls seem a bit thin, as we could hear people walking nearby. The sea view was lovely, but because the hotel is close to the main road, there was quite a bit of traffic noise. Overall, the hotel has potential and we still enjoyed our stay.

The staff was quite friendly. On a down side, there was no mention at the time of booking that the hotel was undergoing a major renovation. One of the reasons that we selected this hotel was the onsite restaurant. This was closed. The construction noise above our room was as horrible as it possibly could be. However, the hotel was happy to relocate us to a different room. The hotel is making huge mistakes trying to create a "crisp, modern" atmosphere. There is no carpet anywhere. That makes for awful noise throughout the building. Worse than that, can we remember that we are in Alaska?? Wet feet led to falling the first step into the building and again when entering our room. It was like walking on ice. The bed was so soft one slid off the edge when trying to sit on the matress to put shoes on. To wrap up the issues with the renovation, sure, it looked nice, but the positives end there. We would not recommend.

The property has been renovated and the rooms are modern with wood accents and back lighting. The shower felt so good, especially after a full travel day. Absolutely loved the room. Very clean. The staff and manager were great. We had a sea view and enjoyed stepping out onto the balcony for the amazing view. Highly recommend.
