"We had a great time at the lodge! Many activities such as fishing, visiting an island of monkeys, and seeing a lot of wild animals. Given the fact that there is little or no electricity, we were able to disconnect ourselves for a few days in order to really relax. The rooms are very charming and the staff was great to answer questions and concerns. Our guide Manuel was great!! Very recomendable because he really knew his way along the jungle and never made us feel anything less than spectacular....

"Firstly, ignore the map. The camp is 30 mins away by by boat on a side river off the Amazon surrounded by forest. Absolutely perfect location. Also the price includes various excursions depending on how long you stay including dolphin watching, rainforest walks - but not Iquitos. No shop, take everything you need. Camp is basic but food and staff are great. Noone speaks English at camp, if you don't, take a phrase book. We stayed 3 memorable days. Do the nighttime walk!"

"Carlos was amazing picking us up at the airport. The accommodations were pretty marginal and the disco next door was a huge bummer. LOUD music until 2 AM granted it was a Friday night and Peruvian Independence Day. We had a very tasty breakfast made for us when we woke up. In the morning Carlos' wife was incredible. "The location is lovely - peaceful and accessible. Management is rarely is evidence and maintenance and housekeeping are poor. Our shower had no nozzle, the shower curtain didn't reach the floor to keep the water in, screens were full of holes. There is no hot water. Garbage was not emptied.
