Sakura Sakura Onsen (さくらさくら温泉) is one of the many onsen (hot spring baths) you can find in the prefecture of Kagoshima, located in southern Japan. This onsen is a mild-acid sulfer spring and is said to be effective for treatment of neuralgia, stiff shoulders, exhaustion, rheumatism, sprain, and external wounds. So...pretty much everything! Sakura Sakura Onsen is famous for their mud bath, which will make you smell foul of sulfer for days but will make your skin shiny and smooth like a new born baby. "Our family spent just one night at the hotel, but wished we could have stayed longer. The location is unbeatable though getting there by public transport may be a challenge. We drove and there was enough parking even though it was shared with beach-goers. The hotel itself has only two spots by its entrance.Service was excellent and check-in was quick and efficient. While the hotel is not new, it is more than made up by its amenities and room views, and what views we had!! Kaimondake was right...
