"We had three issues with our stay: The Outrigger is adding a Dukes restaurant -so there was lots of construction noise and debris. Would have been nice if this was disclosed. The Outrigger’s real name is the Outrigger Resort and Spa - but there was no Spa. Just a hotel room that was converted to a Spa. That is not that the same as a real Spa. Would have been nice is this was disclosed. The air conditioner stopped working on two of our four nights - so it was uncomfortably warm those nights. No apology or compensation offered by the front desk, when I complained."

"This place was great! My family really enjoyed our stay there. It was very clean, well furnished, spacious and cozy. Close to the beach. Parking was super convenient. Nancy provided detailed instructions and prompt responses to our questions before and during our trip. She was very helpful with planning our time in Kona. We even had a good time at the community pool on our "chill out" day We would definitely stay here again!"

"Very nice and clean property that is in a quiet complex a little outside of the busier downtown area. This home has direct access to a small quiet beach. The complex has a great pool that we enjoyed. The home was nicely equipped with cooking supplies, spices, and condiments. I wish I had looked a little closer before going to the market as I purchased more of items already stocked in the home, including sunscreen. Nice beach towels were also provided. Beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of storage. The only downside for me was that if you sit on the lanai, all the chairs are low, so you cannot see the waves or the beach, but the view from the primary bedroom was amazing. The host was great to work with, and we didn’t have any problems. Definitely recommend this property."

"This property is located right across from a wonderful snorkeling location or surfing and paddle boarding. It has a beautiful and quiet pool area that looks out onto the bay with nice BBQ facilities, tables, plenty of loungers and umbrellas. Very relaxing and entertaining to watch the new surfers learning to catch waves. The master bed is quite comfortable, the lanai offers some beautiful views. Washer/Dryer an available and plenty of boogie boards and snorkeling gear so you won’t need to rent. Only negative for me was the 3 flight walk up. I’m older and having some issues so something to consider for some seniors."

"Great location on the beach, amazing views, sounds of waves crashing. Expansive deck. Perfect interior flow for our party of five. Well-stocked. A/C was a blessing in the late July heat. We stayed a week and woukd stay again."
