"We had a lovely stay here. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is great. The location is excellent because it’s right in the middle of Kailua and Kona. Everything is relatively close, but you still feel like you’re out of the super busy areas in a nice quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. We only had to purchase one item (they had run out of dish detergent for the dishwasher).There were a couple of minor issues we encountered and Diane was very helpful and very understanding. To explain further, we lost something of theirs and were never able to find it. I offered to replace it and pay for anything they might need to fix our mistake. Diane was so understanding and told me not to worry about it. I was very grateful to have such an understanding host.The only reason I gave a 4 star on cleanliness is there were a couple of things that got missed from their cleaning staff before our arrival. I gave Diane the feedback on that and she was very receptive.If you’re considering this place to stay, I highly recommend it!"

"My family had a wonderful stay here. The view was amazing, the pool was huge and the space was perfect for our needs. The main space is not air conditioned and it did get pretty warm during the day but it didn't really didn't have a big impact on my family. The bedrooms have ac. The boathouse was an awesome apartment for my grandson. The kitchen was well equipped and the grill was adequate."

"The house is wonderful. Good sized kitchen, big pool, comfy beds, nice bathrooms. We spent most of our time outside in the lanai outside the main level. We had a problem with one of the sliders. Sarah sent handyman Juan to fix it in a timely manner. We used the used gas grill once. Worked good. No problems. The pool and spa was great. We would come back again except for one thing. My husband is pushing 80, it was hard with all the steps. He made do and was careful. And thank you for the chocolate macadamia nuts. A welcome treat. Beautiful ocean view. Also, the neighborhood is nice with close shopping. "
