"We had a one night stay arriving late in the evening, but it was easy to find somewhere to eat, and the accommodation was very comfortable and clean."

"A unique building that was fully restored keeping the character of the original building which was beautiful.
Unfortunately due to the fact that is a listed building and due to the regulations you can’t change anything which means that you don’t have an elevator which makes it difficult using the stairs when you have a large luggage.
The owners were very polite, attentive and helpful willing to help us with any request we had.
The breakfast was based on local ingredients and was delicious...

"Definitely the worst breakfast experience I ever had in my 10 years of travelling. As I come from Greece as well the breakfast is already late. It starts at 9.00, if that! we arrived at the breakfast restaurant at 08:54 the premises wasn't even open yet the staff wasn't even there they arrived at 09:06 there was another girl who wasn't even working that tries to help us as we had limited time. they didn't even offer us coffee tea or water as the coffee machine wasn't even on, they keep insisting...

"Wow. This property is amazing. Newly renovated upscale apartment in the middle of Kalamata. The host was excellent and the amenities were luxurious. Can’t find anything negative to say!"

"The property is clean and tidy.
Staff were friendly
It’s nice but not great and needs to provide basics, such as tea and coffee, hairdryers for the price paid.
Room decor needs a revamp"

"Our stay in The Grand Hotel Kalamata was perfect. We were welcomed warmly when we arrived and shown the hotel's car park nearby.
Our room was very spacious and had a separate sitting area as well as 2 bathrooms (No. 210). The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathrooms had a full range of amenities. All the rooms were spotless and decorated to a high quality.
The public areas of the hotel were beautifully decorated and there were lots of seating options for meals. There was a wide range at breakfast and it was plentiful. We also ate dinner on one occasion in the hotel's restaurant. All the meals were very high quality and delicious.
The staff were superb. They always greeted us with a smile and were friendly, helpful and efficient.
We highly recommend The Grand Hotel Kalamata and plan to stay here again next time we are in Greece."
