Good hotel, clean and well maintained. Was expecting the room to be larger and more comfortable however the other benefits of the hotel make up for it. Spa is very good.

Lovely central square hotel

Lovey grand hotel that has been nicely refitted in the central square. The outside terrace is great for drinks in the sun and the location is perfect to walk everywhere in Calmar.

Relaxing stay in Calmar hotel.

We had a very spacious comfortable room. The bath robes were quite nice as were the towels and the sheets. The bathroom was remodeled and it was very spacious. Could’ve used more shelves for toiletries, but that is often in the case in older European hotels. The breakfast buffet in the morning was very good.

Slightly worn wallpaper above the bed, some damaged tiles in the bathroom, no air conditioning in the room, expensive parking compared to street parking, the spa could definitely have had stricter rules regarding keeping voices low, the breakfast area floor needed a deep cleaning, the breakfast staff performed many ergonomically poor lifts, there was only one elevator and it was quite small and slow, the price for the stay was fairly high, worn and non-soundproof windows facing the square, the breakfast setup for food and drinks could have been better organized, but the staff was very friendly.

One of the worst cleaning services I’ve experience

Very poor cleaning! - found a piece of an old cake in the fridge - found a toy under the bed - found the plastic cap of a razor blade in the shower - my room was never cleaned on a two nights’ stay - Brought a tray with a hamburger I ordered at the restaurant on Thursday. Left the tray outside the room. - The tray was still there two days later when I checked out - Saw a man talking to the manager showing her pictures of mildew in muffins/brownies bought at the hotel - Food at the restaurant doesn’t match the price - Serving personnel not very service-minded

HÎtel en plein centre ville, tout se fait à pied avec plein de restaurants et commerces trÚs bon accueil d'une jeune fille trÚs souriante et agréable chambre spacieuse donnant sur la place principale petit déjeuner trÚs complet avec suffisamment de places PK a proximité pas trop cher petites bouteilles d'eau à disposition nous n'avons pu tester le spa malheureusement par manque de temps et fermé le lundi

VĂ€ldigt sköna sĂ€ngar och bra stĂ€dning varje dag men vĂ€ldigt varma rum utan ac, men en bordsflĂ€kt hjĂ€lpte lite. Frukosten lite ”fattig” ifall man inte Ă€ter kött. PĂ„ andra hotell brukar man kunna vĂ€lja mellan löskokta och hĂ„rdkokta Ă€gg men hĂ€r fanns bara nĂ„t mellanting och Ă€ggröran var gjord av pulver. HeltĂ€ckande mattor i matsalen kĂ€ndes inte frĂ€scht dĂ„ de var vĂ€ldigt smutsiga. LĂ€get pĂ„ hotellet var bra, mitt i centrum vid Stortorget men inget hotell att bo pĂ„ om man vill sova tidigt nĂ€r det Ă€r stadsfest dĂ„ scenen smĂ€lldes upp precis utanför entrĂ©n till hotellet.
