"We had such an amazing time at Contessina celebrating our anniversary/my partners belated birthday. As soon as we arrived the staff were so lovely and welcoming – we were delighted to be given an upgraded room with a private pool this truly made our trip extra special and we were so grateful for that!! Overall the ambience of the hotel is sooo peaceful, from the well equipped gym, the gorgeous poolside bar and chill areas to the exquisite breakfast. This hotel is a must stay in Zakynthos! We wanted to say a special thanks to Christina at the bar who made the best cocktails and was truly a ray of sunshine to see every day! "Absolutely loved my stay! The staff were incredible and I really liked the room and the amenities. Can only recommend the breakfast, a wide variety with change every day! I had a very memorable time in Zakynthos and will definitely be returning. Thank you so much!"

"Overall we had a lovely stay! Hotel manager ensured good communication by email upon check-in and throughout. We got upgraded to sea view, the small touches made a comfortable stay. Staff were lovely, well spoken, polite, look happy. There is a lovely woman who sings throughout the day and evenings, such wonderful voice. The wedding planner (Anna) guided us some lovely day trips and we’re ever so grateful for her knowledge. Things to consider: For those with no car, it’s a very long walk to closest town (village), I would recommend hiring a car for the area, but also to explore lovely beaches, sunset and vineyards. Food was lovely, including buffet options, but not sure why there were so many flies in the restaurant, more fans are needed. Apart from that, we would def reconsider going back again!"
