"From the moment I got off of the highway and onto the property of this beautiful retreat, I felt relaxed and completely at ease. I was greeted by Rolf, who gave me a wonderful history of the owners and the property itself. He even helped me carry my luggage up to my suite. The view from the terrace was perfect! I could see the river as I listened to it race downstream while birds sang and crickets chirped. The property has hiking trails and I made sure to take a little nature walk and breathe in the aromatic mountain air. It was a short drive into town where I was able to get dinner, drinks, and meet a few of the locals. This has been an incredible experience. The one and only issue I had is that I couldn’t stay longer! If you’re looking for a serene getaway, Hearthstone Elegant Lodge is definitely the place! I will be back again and again for sure! "

"A family reunion brought us to Grangeville and a 3 night stay at the Gateway Inn. We were very pleased with the accommodations and their staff was one of the most helpful and courteous we found in our travels. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, pool was very nice. We would definitely stay again at the next family gathering!"
