Room was very clean, spacious, and lovely. I liked that sink was separate from the tub and toilet. A little disappointed at the view of tops of buildings and very little outdoor space. Only drawback for us as two elderly women was that there were lots of men lingering outside, lots of big, noisy trucks, and outdoor conversations that made it hard to get to sleep and woke us way to early.

I reserved 2 rooms months ago, had the confirmation from Expedia, showed up from out of town to check in for a family wedding and the front desk clerk said he did not have the 2 rooms reserved - only 1 and he had no other rooms available. We needed 2 rooms for multiple groups of people. I showed him the confirmation, he said "I don't know what happened but we are full with no other rooms". That was all the help I received. I called all the other hotels in town - no one had availability. No apologies or any help at the White Pine - we just walked out and had to figure out other accommodations elsewhere. I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel - even if you reserve the room they do not honor the reservation.

The staff are lovely here. The only issue was the room smelled like it maybe had water damage or lingering pet issues. When we turned the AC on it was really musty and gross smelling. We bought a couple of candles and tried to drown it out but it was unpleasant.
