"To say this place was fantastic would be an understatement. The apartment was so new, clean, and beautiful we wished we had stayed another night (we were only passing through from Budapest to Prague). Parking is easily accesible once you send your car registration to the hotel which was tricky for us at first but we managed to find it and get it done. This was a very last minute booking and by far is the nicest place we stayed in during our 12 day European trip. Breakfast was superb as well. "

Everything about this hotel is luxurious, from the heated flooring, fresh breakfast platter, super comfortable rooms, to sitting outside watching the sunset drinking locally made wines. It genuinely is 10/10 and the staff are also pure class. We were sad to leave but will definitely have it on our revisit list."

"Gostilna pri Janezu is a real gem. Everything was excellent, and we are certainly coming back. This is a beautifully organised modern building with tasteful decor. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The restaurant serves some amazing home cooking. The staff are kind, helpful, and multilingual, and they make sure each guest is treated like a king. "Being there at a heatwave in Styria, this was a gem as it has air-condition in the rooms which was so fantastic. Also not cheap ones, these were from Daikin, very efficient and quiet. Price is absolutely ok, room has all you need, all pretty new and nice, more modern than traditional Austrian style. Room has also a balcony, quite nice to sit outside and enjoy a drink. Regarding beverages, there is a very convenient beverage vending machine, that includes wine and beer, everything reasonable priced, payable with touch credit card. Check-in was very easy, there is a touch screen at entrance (multiple language options) and once I did input my name, all details came up as booked with Expedia, confirmed it and then two room cards came out of the slot - and that’s it! Super easy, no fuss at all. Checkout is just to put the room cards into the checkout box, again easy and convenient. "
