Wake up to a glories sunrise in Kandy. Our holiday home over looks the world heritage listed Knuckles and Hunsgiriya mountain range. We have two rooms with attached bathrooms, lounge area and a garden to relax!
The space
Garden view room is one of two private rooms at Hillside stay. This room has a King size bed, private balcony with a hammock and it overlooks the world heritage listed Knuckles Mountain range.

If you are a group of 4 or 5 you can book the other room listed separately as Hillside stay Mountain View room.The price is set per person therefore indicate the correct amount of guests.

The Lounge consists of a vibrant and colorful space with seating area, dining table and is decorated with traditional Sri Lankan kitchen utensils and live plants. This space is for visitors to relax, enjoy the beautiful surroundings and feel refreshed by the Kandy breeze on the balcony!

The garden in full of vibrant colors and plays host to an abundance of birds squirrels and occasionally a troop monkeys.

Most herbs, fruit, and vegetables are sourced from our garden i.e. Avocados, Rose Apple (Jammbu), King coconut, Gotu Kola, Curry leaves, Chillies, Carrots, Spinach and many more....

The lounge area features a balcony overlooking the stunning mountain range and gives you a chance to feel the cool Kandy breeze. This space allows you to relax, listen to music, read books and have some quality time to yourself. There is also a carrom board and hammock amongst the seating area to help you to unwind.

If you wish to try something local for lunch/ dinner, we do offer the following homemade Sri Lankan dishes upon request,

•Plain Hoppers and Egg Hoppers
•String Hoppers
•Noodles
•Dhosais and Wadde
•Fruit salads and Vegetable salads (sourced from our very own garden)

We can arrange airport pick-ups and tours around Sri Lanka. Let us know if you are interested.

Kandy tends to get cooler every now and then when it gets a heavy downpour, Let us know if you need a blanket.

Feel free to use the Bluetooth speaker in the lounge room.

Kandy is a busy town. We are in close proximity to Kandy town only a 30 rupee 10 min bus ride away. We are located nearby to katugastota Rd which is the main road connecting Kandy town, therefore, please note that there will be some traffic noises during business hours. Rooms are sealed and fan-cooled, unless you are light sleeper or not from a city area you won't feel any difference.
