Spacious rooms, central location

Nice hotel in central location at 10-15 min walking distance from the MTR and train station. with spacious rooms. Either we were lucky or it is well soundproofed. Beds were comfortable but wobbly, so your partner will be shaken awake every time you move. We got a design room, which was a fun experience, but not somthing to pay extra for in my view.

The room is big for a family of four. It took about 8 minutes to walk to the nearest metro. The road is not good for taking large luggage. There are two lifts which are not big enough to serve the guests in peak hours. The buffet breakfast is good.

The hotel is very dirty, there’s mold under the sink and on the ceiling. There’s a smell on the floor hallway and room. The bed sheet has a yellow stain that looks like pee stain. We have pictures for proof. Overall, the quality and cleanliness is very bad, we do not recommend this hotel to anyone and would not come back.

Smell of smoking cigarettes

I am surprised there is no review mentioning of the immediate smell of cigarettes that hit my face as soon as I walked into the room. It’s a non smoking hotel but I am 100% certain the smell of smoking was rather fresh. The central air conditioner means the smell travel across the entire building and throughout the night I was hit by various different unpleasant smell. The shower facilities were out of order and the bath was mouldy. The colour of the carpet was dark so it’s impossible to tell how dirty/clean it is. I had to make sure I had my slippers on at all times. The curtains in the bed room cannot be opened as it was far too dusty. I only had three hours of sleep as clean is the last word I will use to describe this room. I even checked out early as I couldn’t breath freely in that room (starting coughing in the morning). Very disappointing experience as the location was really good.
