o Experience a comfortable and convenient stay in this 1-bedroom studio located along the Coconut Coast. This unit is perfect for guests who are looking to explore the beautiful island of Kauai. The location is extremely convenient for getting around with grocery stores, restaurants, and shops all within walking distance. It is centrally located and only 30 mins away from the north and south side of the island.

You can lounge by the swimming pool or walk along the beach which is just steps away from the property. At Kauai Kailani, you will find yourself right at home. BBQ Grills, Meeting/Recreation Room, Ping Pong Table, and Books are provided here for ease of access and your convenience.

The location is extremely easy for getting around the whole island. You can access multiple beaches, shops, numerous restaurants/food trucks, and not to mention having a Safeway right across the street.

Best stay ever

Kauai Kalani was the best location and stay that I have enjoyed in Kauai, ever. I regularly return to visit my childhood home, and I will always try to book here in the future, now that I know!

I was extremely happy with my stay. The location was perfect right on the beach and across the street from a shopping center and restaurants. The room itself had everything you needed, comfortable bed, small kitchen area with coffee make, microwave and refrigerator

Excellent location, Great stay!

Big spacious bed, simple accommodations. Perfect for those who want to get out and see the island, centrally located so the west side or the north shore are roughly the same distance. Place was clean and Dave was extremely accommodating! Plan on staying again in the future!

Nice stay!

Very clean room with AC! Included plenty of clothes hangers, towels, and dishes. Only downside was no laundry but there is a laundromat just a 7 minute walk away. Would recommend to stay here!

The location is ideal if you want to access opposite sides of the island, walk to food trucks, best shave ice (Wailua), dozens of shops and restaurants, and you can get to Sleeping Giant in about 5 minutes if you want to watch one of the best sunrises on the planet.

Our stay in Kapaa

Very convenient place to stay with all you need for an enjoyable time. Walk around to the beach front and relax in the lounge chairs or take a quick ride into town. Either way you will have easy access to all of Kauai from this studio. Easy check in process and a great place to stay. Thanks David

Looking forward to our next visit!

We truly enjoyed our time staying at the condo! It was steps away from a private and quiet beach so we loved taking our morning walks there. Many coffee shops and restaurants are located within 5mins driving distance. The room was very clean and comfortable. There is a big walk-in closet so it made the luggage origanization very easy. We had a great time meeting Leah and her lovely family as well, They made this trip extra special!

Property was clean and tidy! Nothing fancy, but was just what we needed for our stay. We were out and about all day, so we didn’t feel like we needed much in the first place. Dave was great to work with and prompt with responses to questions. Would recommend!

Did the job!

Dave’s place was very accommodating. Although quite basic with furnishings, decorations etc, it was perfect for my friend and I. Mini fridge, microwave, and some cutlery/plate ware made for an easier stay. The fans he provided were perfect for circulating air around the place, though I was there during 70-85 degree weather, and it was pushing it during the 85 days. Overall, he is very kind and responsive and I would come here again.

Sunrise in Paradise

David's condo is suitable for 2 people. It is furnished with a king sized bed and is actually very spacious for a studio. We loved starting each day by opening our front door, cup of coffee in hand, and walking less than 50 yards to the beach to watch the sunrise. The location was perfect for us because it is halfway between the north and the south. If you have excursions planned like hiking, diving, kayaking, snorkeling, or exploring remote beaches, then this condo will be just right for you. If you are looking for a place where you want to spend the bulk of your visit and cook your meals in-unit, then you might be disappointed here. We loved our stay here and we would book again. The communication with our host was excellent from start to finish and the property as a whole is very well taken care of. It is quiet here, too. As a bonus, each time you drive out of the complex, you are facing a beautiful Wyland mural that you get to admire.

Great Bang for the Buck

Property was clean and easy to access. The only negative I would say is that I had underestimated the Hawaiian heat in November and picking a place without AC was probably not the smartest choice (this is totally on me though as the listing clearly stated no AC). Location was decent as it offered great access to all sides of the island. However, there was plenty of construction around the area when I went, which made traffic sometimes a pain to deal with. Otherwise, it was a very nice place to stay for our first trip to Kauai!

Affordable in a good location

This place while not charming or cute in any way is a great functional place to stay in a great location. It’s next to a beautiful beach front (though not really that swimmable) and right in the center of town. Walking distance to main shopping area and a great place to plan excursions throughout the island. The unit has only one window and making it feel a little gloomy during the day but we didn’t come to Kauai to sit in our room all day anyway. It was a little difficult to keep the room cool enough without using the AC in the 83 degree summer heat we got when we were there but the AC worked great on auto (we tried saving the money). Overall if you are looking for a clean and simple place to stay without all the frills but in a great location this spot is for you.

Small Changes Could Make this better

The overall layout was spacious. Great King bed, nice sized bathroom, and walk-in closet also serving as the mini kitchen. The bathroom exhaust fan was clogged with dust. The folding bistro chairs were flimsy & uncomfortable (reported by another guest), & the kitchen area had no plates (problem also reported in Sept.), no wine or beer openers or glasses. Cheap fixes that would have really increased my overall rating. The pool and waterfront area were nice. The photos of the unit were accurate. However, the unit did not hsve a deck/patio or any view. I think that should have been noted. Comnunication was great

Needs AC to be liveable

Trying to be as generous as possible, so will give this 3 stars because of the big, nice bathroom with a terrific shower. Other than that, very disappointing. Having no AC only works if you have substantial airflow, which requires at least 2 windows - this place has one and a small one at that. The "cooler fan" is not a cooler of any kind (actually, it is a swamp cooler but is not hooked up to water and the pump button has been disabled), so it's just a fan. The heat was miserable and we dreaded coming back here every night and sweating ourselves to sleep. Also, floors were very dirty, with sand and dirt everywhere; visible food left on dishes; flimsy plastic folding chairs and a small, broken end table for furnishings; one picture in the entire place with no other decorations; weak/spotty wifi; front door opens on ground floor parking lot right next to dumpster and high traffic sidewalk leading around building to pool/beach. Also, this was a 6-night stay and the owner did not contact us at all during that time to see if we got in OK or had any issues. Quality requires effort and attention - you can't expect 5-star ratings with a "bare minimum" approach.
