Cosy bach situated on a full section with great indoor/outdoor flow.
Tokerau Beach is great for all ages it offers a wide range of water sports, its an excellent beach to walk down and of course it offers fishing as well as tua tua's yum!! If that's not enough you will be within a 5 min drive to the beautiful Matai bay, Rangiputa and other amazing beaches our beautiful coastline has to offer.
This is the perfect location to base yourself to explore everything the far north has to offer with places like Cape Reinga and the world famous 90 mile beach all within a 2 hour drive. Closer to home base just up the road in Whatuwhiwhi is Carrington Estate for lunch or dinner or you could pop across the road and have a round of golf.

This place has everything you could need for a stay away. They have really thought about all the little touches. Owners are easy to deal with and respond quickly. Lovely and clean, homely, great location and good price. We will definitely be back again. Thank you so much.

Everything was as advertised. Would have liked a couple more days stay to look around the area a bit but have to return to work. A real bonus we could have our dog as well. Enjoyed our stay thankyou.

Great place to stay, very clean and tidy ,everything u need is there, close to beach, We were sooo delighted to be able to take our rescue pup, fully fenced so very very pet friendly, we were offered early check in and late check out which was amazing, Leanne and Mark were outstanding hosts, will definately be back, highly recommend, Thank you

We loved this cute bach, it was a great base for our Easter in the far north. We had an event to attend in the region that was based at Whatwhiwhi, just down the road. The bach was close by for this and handy to Tokerau beach, just a short stroll around the corner. It was great to have our own space to get down time. The bach was completely self contained, including a coffe machine. The location was ideal, the Karikari peninsular really is paradise. Our Easter break was not long enough, but we would recommend this bach for others to enjoy a break in paradise.

We were very dissatisfied and disappointed with this property for the amount we paid for it. We have stayed in many properties, camp grounds, hostels all over New Zealand and have paid a lot less for a much nicer accomodation. I very rarely do reviews, however, I do not have high standards, but have expectations especially when you’re paying for what appears to be a well conditioned property advertised. I apologise for the long review but we were not happy at all with this place. The cleanliness was very poor! There was hair and what appeared to be dog hair everywhere, including the toilet seat. There were crumbs and lint on the flooring, carpet and rug which had no way been hoovered. The sink basin had not been cleaned. There was dirty cutlery in the draws and cupboards (plates etc). I had to Hoover and wipe down the kitchen and bathroom upon check in. There’s a disgusting may in front of the toilet which stinks of wee and covered in stains. The furniture is pretty old and dirty. Poor bedding etc. There isn’t a AC / Heat pump unit in the property and the heat is just incredible when you first enter. Fair enough, but it barely cooled down despite windows being opened and later with the fan. Wifi is not advertised and so is not included. The water is not drinkable. Overall, we were disappointed is fair to say and we’re really mythed as to how this property has got great reviews! This property would be great if it had a good clean and up to date furniture.

Nice, clean and with everything you might need for your stay. The only negative was that it was not mentioned in the rental description that there is no drinking water at the bach and there wasn't any note warning of this once at the bach either. Luckily for us on arrival we inquired with the owner if we could drink the water and the reply was no, we should boil it first. If we had known this, we would have come better equipped. Also be warned that there is no wifi. Otherwise, everything was great.
