"Very disappointing stay and absolutely not worth the price. From the moment we arrived, Scandic CH Gävle felt worn, outdated, and poorly maintained. The accessible/PWD elevator was out of order, meaning heavy luggage had to be carried up steps, and the elevator area itself looked old and neglected. The room was acceptable, but it was oddly prepared for two guests, with only one visible duvet and two pillows. We had to contact reception just to learn the rest was hidden in a chest, which felt unnecessarily inconvenient. The gym/spa floor was the low point: one of two elevators was out of service, the area was dark with no clear signs, and the gym was small, windowless, poorly equipped, and even had cracked flooring. Breakfast was okay, but overall this stay felt like a waste of money. I would not return unless prices were significantly lower or the property was properly updated."

"It was good, check-in was a bit confusing but that might just have been me. I had a generally good stay, liked the location, room etc. My only issue was when before checkout (around 9) a member of staff knocks and I say hello and then they simply unlocked my door anyway? And it was an awkward moment. I don't really know why they tried comming in since it's before checkout and I've rented my room. But other then that yeah it was good"
