"It is a brand new property (one year old). The rooms are small but ver comfortable and clean. Breakfast was well done with a great selection for most dietary needs. The lounge in the evening has a very quiet peaceful ambience. Most staff were very friendly and helpful. A couple front desk people were somewhat gruff of dismissive when assistance was sought. "

"This is a great basic hotel that knows its customer and serves them well. Very, very comfortable with friendly staff it is ideal to use as a base to explore the area. It is walkable to the station and an easy walk to the city centre although there are trams available nearby too. We loved the honesty bar approach when reception was unstaffed and there are some great food options nearby. Sokrates around the corner is exceptional. "
