"1) they are NOT of any HI international standard. The Staff had check in, spoke no English and over charged us! There is no shared kitchen or even a microwave to warm up a meal. We are paying to sleep, and if you cannot sleep, then what is the point of paying being at a place???There were a rowdy bunch of 100 + boys! The staff, had no curfew to shut them up. there were so noisy and everyone screamed and shouted to each other and ran ruckus in the corridors of the buildings - from 7pm till 3pm.....

"You cannot compare hostels run by the Israel Youth Hostels Association in Israel to general hostels. Private rooms with space for large families, clean dining facilities, etc. Really, the experience is a great one, especially when you're doing various roadtrips and hikes around the country. This particular location had very friendly staff, the location was a little difficult to get to due to loss of cell service in the town. But one we got there, there was parking in abundance. Sofia Hotel Sea of Galilee

10/10 Excellent

"From the minute I arrived, everything was taken care of. The beds were ready, and I didn't have to wait for the gym to open. Breakfast was excellent—especially the Mexican on the egg station. The place was clean and architecturally beautiful."

King Solomon Hotel Tiberias

10/10 Excellent

"The view from my room was spectacular. The pool was fabulous. Large and plenty of swimming space. Breakfast was amazing. Didn’t know where to begin. All the food was fresh, presentation was very well done. There was staff rotating about the dining room bringing out refills, cleaning the tables, available for all questions. The room was adequate. The shower was great. All in all we had a good experience"

U Boutique Kinneret by the Sea of Galilee

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely hotel in a beautiful location with a private beach on the Kinneret. I saw some reviews complaining about music by the pool, but it was calm music and not too loud so don't let that put you off! 10/10 and would definitely stay here again."
