Rooms where spacious and clean, good air conditioner. However the hallways and elevators etc were not clean at all. Also lots of mosquitos in our room when we first checked in. Breakfast was very good, however a bit expensive. Be careful when you book this hotel through expedia, because there are 4 different sugar marina’s in this area and this one has the wrong address writing..

I loved the large bedroom with 1 king bed and 2 bunk beds, it was perfect for us (2 adults and 1 child). On top of that we had access to a semi private pool (accessible to only four bedroom) which was great to relax sometimes. I also loved that they provided towels you could bring to the beach as well, it's a game changer for me, had I known in advance it would have saved me some space in the suitcase. The main swimming pool is simple but great with kids as they have a small kids area with a water slide that my son (5yo) loved. Breakfast was doing the job overall but nothing special, just a typical buffet. It was a little crowded (high season), pastries were not good at all but the Thai dish (noddle, fried rice...) and waffles were great. now for the location: it is very near Karon beach, like a 2 minutes walk. And there are also plenty of options to eat nearby without the need to get a taxi or tuktuk.

Pros: - Reception staff were nice and welcoming. - Close proximity to the beach. - Blackout curtains were good. Cons: - Although there has seemingly been a recent makeover you can tell that the facilities are run down, particularly noticeable on staircases. - The whole corridor we were staying in smelled damp and foisty. This extended into our room. - Linen and towels were consistently stained despite changes. - Housekeeping didn’t top up water/teabags several times. They also removed toilet paper from the bathroom once, leaving us with none.

Pros: It's convenient and the staff is generally very friendly and helpful. They also have what you would expect from a hotel near the beach - beach towels, mesh bag and slippers. They also provide a crib upon request. Cons: The bathtub is in the corridor and doesn't have a shower head. As such, the water cools down very fast and the sand or dirt is very hard to drain off. We had asked for additional beach towels and bath towels (because there were 3 of us) and had to do so every day as the staff just didn't take note of it when clearing our room. They also will not rinse/change the coffee cups unless you place them in the sink. There's very little counter space in the toilet to put your toothbrushes and toothpaste (oh, please remember to bring your own or buy one as they don't provide). They could've added some shelves next to the sink since there wasn't enough space for counter top.

Excellent stay! Would recommend to anyone. The only reason we didn’t give it five stars is our room was against the elevator and there was loud mechanical noises whenever it was used. But otherwise was amazing

If you are unlucky enough to be placed in the rear boutique hotel they claim to be a 4 star hotel I am sorry in advance. The room we were provided reeked of dead fish and mold. Tried to air out some of that smell and it really just brought in more dead fish smells from the outside. This is not a 4 star hotel. Clogged sink from day one is also unacceptable. No bell man to help with bags is also unacceptable when we had to walk such a long way. Secondly, we were not provoded an alternative since they were fully booked. The only option we were given was to wait for the next day. So we said no and left. Even though this was a non refundable stay, Expedia still refunded us due to the hotel's neglect. I also advised them to change their rating because I have never seen a boutique hotel be considered 4 stars. A swimming pool is not an automatic 4 star qualifier. Anyhow, I urge everyone to stay away from this hotel even though the location is great.

If you're on a budget this place is ok. It's a bit dated, my room smelled really bad like mould. It was relatively clean. Internet wasn't the best. Pillows were pretty good. Air Con with remote was good. Personally I would rather stay at a more cleaner and modern place and won't stay here again.

先ずカタビーチのカタノイ寄りがよく地図から選択して予約。しかしそこに行くとホテルは無く問い合わせたらカロンビーチだと言う。何とか辿り着きスタッフに伝えるも未だ変更はされていない。 私の部屋だけ（複数人でそれぞれ部屋を利用）でしたが部屋の中に隣の部屋と繋がるドアがあり、こちらには鍵が無い為、開くのでは無いかと不安になる。そして、ドアの隙間から隣の会話程度の声も聞こえて来て眠れなかった。 翌日、部屋を変えてもらい、これなら大丈夫だと４泊の延泊をフロントに依頼。しかし翌朝予約されていないと出ていくように言われる。昨日延泊依頼したスタッフが居た為、昨日言いましたよね？と尋ねると、知りませんの一点張り。 せめて忘れていた認めて欲しかった。他のホテルを探すのに２時間程度要し、時間と労力を無駄に使った。 あと、部屋はモスキートコイルは利用禁止とされているが、部屋には蚊が沢山いた（チェンジした部屋にも）。せっかくコンビニで電気式の蚊取り器を（日本で言うベープマット）買って来たのに１日で追い出されたのでその次のホテルには蚊がいなかったので無駄に終わった。 今までカタビーチ周辺のホテルに沢山宿泊したことがあるが、こんなに酷い目にあったのは初めて。 因みにレンタルバイクは１日２５０バーツでした。周辺相場は２００パーツくらいからでした。 泊まらない方が良いとは言わないが決してお勧めは出来ない。

Just OK.. Could be better

Hotel was pretty average.. But clean. Breakfast staff, seemed very unhappy. Normally Thai people are so lovely, the girls working in the restaurant didn't even greet us each day. The waiting staff need to improve.
