The hotel has its excellent location right on Motomachi shopping street, just a short walk from Motomachi Station and close to restaurants, shops, Chinatown and other attractions — making it ideal for sightseeing and exploring Kobe on foot.The beds are not small at all. "Hotel Okura is beautiful. I loved my view of the harbor from my room with the sparkling waters every morning. The location is very central to some popular tourist attractions including Meriken Park and it was very easy to get around on foot. We were able to visit the shopping malls nearby -- no more than 15 minutes away from the hotel. There are beautiful views very close by the hotel. The staff was very kind and pleasant. The room was clean and well maintained. I would stay here agin."

"Clean room, typical Japanese room size (not too small but not spacious). Convenient location. Parking could be limited even though they said hotel guests have priority. They have additional offsite parking partnerships if parking is full."
