Find All-inclusive Hotel in Kato Gouves

"My husband and I went to the Peninsula Resort and Spa from June 1 to June 11, 2025. It is a great hotel on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The view of the blue sea is stunning. The sun was always shining for 10 days in a row. The rooms are large, and the mattresses and pillows are very comfortable. The hotel is always clean, and the fridge is filled with water bottles. The pools are very clean, and there are a lot of chairs to lounge on. The buffet's food was extraordinary, with a huge amount of very high-quality and delicious food, always hot. They had several stations where pizza, pasta, eggs, etc., were made daily in front of the guests. They also had fresh fish, seafood, beef, chicken, and pork barbecued fresh daily. The French fries were always fresh and hot. They had all kinds of drinks and alcohol. The staff at the buffet and all the other pool bars were always smiling and ready to help. The reception staff was great and spoke many languages. The entertainment group is a hard-working team. Although the entertainment was the majority of the time in French, however, they also spoke English. The only thing that was tiring for me was the many, many stairs that I had to take every day to go down to the sea. But, if you're young and healthy, you won't have any problem with this resort. I fully recommend this resort."

"We arrived at the hotel and immediately they upgraded our room to a room with a private pool (very nice, but unfortunately not usable). Everything was perfect and appreciated. The food in the main room is excellent and with a wide selection, the chef is always there with a big smile. On the other hand, in the two restaurants, unfortunately, the food is not made on site, Just heats it up and serves it. It's a shame, because these are good quality products! Anyway, this is not a complaint, just sharing our feelings. We definitely recommend the place, and of course we will go back there soon!"

Although it's not a 5 star hotel and even an old one with an all inclusive service that is still stuck in time... At the same time, you can enjoy the service that the hotel offers both in terms of food, rooms and service. The food - needs improvement! Both in terms of quality and in terms of serving. You can at least upgrade the way of serving to be more respectable! The rooms - different types, some are small, but comfortable. You can always improve with new mattresses and even an air conditioner or refrigerator that makes noise at night. The service - this is actually the strong point of the place! It makes up for everything else... The staff at the reception is amazing, attentive and respectful of every question and request. The waiters in the restaurant and the Kissaot bar are always smiling and available for any question or request. Overall, I would recommend everyone to come, especially the apartments and the attitude! Thanks to the staff at the reception, restaurant and bar!!!"

"Just had 5 nights at this hotel (late October) and it was wonderful. Busy enough to feel part of something, quiet enough so that there were no queues at all for food (which was plentiful, varied and delicious) and plenty of space in every area (poolside, restaurants, etc). Room was comfy, pools were lovely (if a little cold), sun loungers were plentiful, staff were great (my daughter and I did sunset yoga every day - bliss) and only a 25 minute taxi ride from Heraklion Airport. Deserves every one of it's 4 stars."
