"I had a very uncomfortable and unsafe experience at Hotel Laut Jaya. The room was dirty, old, and badly maintained. The toilet condition was also poor, and the overall room condition felt terrible. "We truly enjoyed our stay here at The Residence. This is a perfect getaway where all the staffs are lovely and friendly. Our villa stay is very comfortable, we cycled to everywhere within the premises. We also enjoyed the private dinner at the beach area. There is one good advise, the residence is quite a distance from the ferry terminal, the ride is about one hour and 20 mins. So do make your ferry schedule earlier. Emerald class is highly recommended for ferry rides."

"We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The only downside was that the food and drinks were quite expensive. However, there are several excellent local restaurants nearby where you can enjoy delicious meals at more reasonable prices. Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel."

"This is our 2nd time staying at this Villa. The service team was speedy in their response and service. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Renting of floats was expensive (S$50 for 2 floats for a day) The food from room service was average but the team had great recommendations on where to go for dinner which was excellent. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. Will be back if I’m going back to Bintan."

"I booked Alltrue Hotel Bintan after leaving another hotel due to safety concerns, and I’m glad I did. The hotel felt much safer, cleaner, and more comfortable. The room condition was much better, and I was able to finally settle down properly for my solo trip. As a solo traveller, feeling safe in the room is very important, and Alltrue gave me that peace of mind. It may not be a beach resort, but it works well as a comfortable base in Tanjung Pinang. What stood out most was the service. During one of my outings, I ended up at a place where I could not get a Grab back to the hotel. I contacted the hotel, and they arranged a vehicle to pick me up. That really helped me a lot, especially as I was travelling alone and not familiar with the area. Overall, Alltrue Hotel Bintan was a reliable and reassuring stay. It gave me the safety, comfort, and support I needed after a stressful start to my trip. I would recommend it especially to solo travellers who want a cleaner, safer, and more convenient hotel base in Tanjung Pinang."

"Mutiara is not a typical beach resort—it’s a true eco-resort designed with tradition and sustainability in mind. It’s also actively run by the long-time owner—no corporate chains here. The most important things to be prepared for: no AC and no hot water. You sleep in lovely teak and rattan cottages with mosquito nets and plenty of fans. Which means this is a chance to experience what SE Asia was like 40-50 years ago (and of course the same way lots of locals live today). The food is terrific, prepared for you personally by very attentive staff. There’s kayaks, SUPs, and plenty to do—fishing, cooking classes, massages, etc. It’s all very affordable. Trust me, you won’t want to leave. This is one of those places you never forget."
