"We had a washing machine within our apartment which was convenient. The dining table and chairs need to be repaired. The host responded quickly when our internet went down and helped to sort it out."

"Nice hotel and great staff. They advertise a 24hr fitness facility, but fail to inform you anywhere on the listing that you must pay to use the facilities. The average price to use the gym is 2500yen per hour."
"Perfect location for Universal Studio and Universal City Walk. Train station just across the street. Hotel clean, rooms spacious, convenient location, staff helpful. Would definitely stay here again."
"It is connected to JR Nanba station and Osaka CAT bus terminal through under pass and arcade. Located within walking distance from many shopping attractions in Nanba area. The staff is very friendly and more than willing to help you out whenever needed. They put us on 30th floor that commands a great view of Osaka (Lobby is on 22nd floor so that you have to change a elevator on 22nd whenever you come and go, which we find it a little bit bothering-mendoksai).
Our plan has a breakfast included, and we enjoyed very much. The breakfast is excellent and has all Japanese and western style foods and deserts ready. The breakfast place is on 22nd floor that you can enjoy almost surround view of Osaka Nanba area.
The hotel has a few restaurants on property, French and Japanese, but they were closed when we are staying except for French one that you have to reserve a table in advance (we failed to do). But there are many dining places in the area so that it shouldn't be an issue to many visitors unless you want to have a special anniversary dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was our case.
The hotel does not have any bar where we can have a cocktail or drink while enjoying the view of the city, which we found one big catch. Other than that the stay was great."
"The place was nice, but the stools in the bathrooms were so dirty and disgusting. The staff was helpful and very nice. The room the nice but not storage and no bathroom door. Not place to store suitcases. No hooks to hang our towels. I would stay here again, but that’s after looking at some place better first."
"This was my first trip to Kyoto with my family (4 adults). We wanted a hotel that was close to Kyoto Station and JR WEST GROUP VIA INN PRIME KYOTOEKI HACHIJOGUCHI was the perfect place. This location provided us with a wide selection of restaurants and shops. There is also a large shopping mall located at the Kyoto Station and another shopping mall just a few blocks away. There was also a 7-11 located next door which guests have access through the hotel lobby. So convenient!
We reserved two rooms, hoping that our rooms would be fairly close to each other. Thankfully, the rooms were on the same floor, but at different ends of the hallway. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with a small refrigerator and large shower. However, counter space in the bathrooms were limited. We were able to get many of the toiletries in the lobby, such as toothbrushes, body lotion, facial masks, etc, which was very nice. We enjoyed the fresh towels that were delivered to our door each day, even though we did not need housekeeping service. The staff is very nice and helpful, however check-in was a bit confusing. Although we had a reservation for two rooms, we had to check in to each room separately via a kiosk, even though the rooms were under the same name. Check out had the same procedure. The staff was available to help, however it would have been nice to have the staff check us in and out at the front desk. Overall, Via Inn was a very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
