Our visit to Ireland was made even better by our stay at the Seaview House Hotel. It's not your average hotel, but that was okay for us. It is surrounded by beautiful, scenic gardens. Bantry and Glengarriff are close by (5 miles) with little shops, restaurants, and boat rides available. The people at Seaview House Hotel were very accommodating and very kind. Nice relaxing atmosphere.

This place was exquisite and we plan to return in the future. The staff was very helpful and delightful. The restaurant was outstanding for both breakfast (excellent buffet) and dinner (spectacular). The setting is beautiful and walking distance from Muckross Abby and Muckross House. The walking paths are tranquil and well kept. A beautiful place that we LOVED and highly recommend.

Warm/welcoming staff; Provided immediate assistance for car issue (alternator problem) Always attentive to needs - e.g., provided electric adaptor for charging I-phone Great room service - even provided after kitchen closed Great breakfast, and attentive restaurant staff

Large rooms very considerate staff, food in the bar was good,no idea why this hotel only gets a three rating - I would score significantly higher than three stars. Great shopping for Irish produced clothing

Lovely small hotel with on site breakfast bistro, full service restaurant and 2 taverns. Very close to all the shopping, restaurants and attractions that Kenmare offers. Ideal location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Older property that has been well maintained. Very comfortable bed. Parking is available on location. If it’s full, park in the adjacent gravel lot that seems to be unattached to the Lansdowne but available for anyone to use.

Great place great evening jazz music with pianist and saxophonist Not sure if a regular but made the evening wonderful Everyone so helpful and enthusiastic Loved the smiles of the staff They appear to genuinely care Lee

Lovely hotel! Extremely comfortable and quiet. The restaurant attached to the hotel is excellent and the morning's breakfast was superb! The staff was super friendly and nice and the property was very clean and nicely maintained! Would stay here again, overall excellent place to stay!

Very nice hotel. Great area very close to train station and right next to the bus stop.

We just returned from Ireland and my opinion of this hotel is that the service and staff are as good as it gets. The bar is so nice and we made friends there every night which made it very fun. The rooms are smallish and nothing really special: mattress is great, pillows just okay. The location is perfect and you could walk to great restaurants, pubs & shopping without hearing the noise.

After staying in many hotels all around the country on our visit over 11 days, we found the Ross Hotel room to be the most special. Our room had a king bed, fireplace, sitting area and a spacious bath and closet area. Our view was a back alley and also a lovely side view of a church. Even though we could hear music from the downstairs businesses, our room was very comfortable and we slept well. We experienced an extra helpful and friendly front desk staff, especially Katrina. Hotel was lovely and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great location with its own parking. The breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed how nice the room was and how clean everything was . The spa was a plus .

The most beautiful place in the world to stay!!! Excellent on all levels! Foodies will love the restaurant and not only is breakfast included but it was amazing! Make Hotel Europe your next stay!

Loved the area, it was far enough away from the main city without being too far. Great location and an abundant number of activities to do in the vicinity. I highly recommend visiting the friary at Muckross Abbey at night.

We had a lovely 2 day stay and found the location to the town fantastic. Everything in the town was a only a few minutes walk away. All the staff were great but especially memorable was the concierge Mary who gave us expert advice on touring the beautiful Ring of Kerry. Thank you Mary, you were right we didn’t get lost!

Great hotel with freindly staff, location is right in between city center and national park (almost 15 min walking to each)

Room was very clean, very short walk to dining, bars, and shopping, breakfasts were excellent, Lucy is so animated and full of energy. Loved the stay here for two nights.

Such a quietly elegant place. You feel like you are in Downton Abbey. The staff understands service and was gracious, helpful to a fault and friendly but never overbearing. The bathroom had a deep tub, heated towel rack and floor. It also had a terrace and a separate room as a closet. I was not in their best room but a mid-level room. There were many activities for both rainy and sunny days. This information is listed in the hotel manual. For example, you can go horseback riding or on a "jaunt"...
