The home was a tranquil place, beautiful yard of flowers to greet us, a strand of native bananas hung by the door for the picking. Good! We are two older couples and the accommodations were perfect. Close to town, a short walk to a dramatic black lava beach, you can see the ocean from the porch. And the porch....a special outdoor sleeping area. Just what we were looking for. Just beautiful."

"We loved it here. I'm a gardener & therefore adored looking at all the plants. We spent most of our time reading together on the screened-in lanai. I made every excuse to take multiple showers in the outdoor-one: it felt very Brooke-Shields-in-the-Blue-Lagoon (if they'd had a shower--but you know what I mean). Beautiful, evocative touches throughout. The mosquito netting over the bed was somewhat difficult to negotiate, but no biggie. "
