B&B in Hawaii

Mango Sunset is situated on a hill in a lovely coffee plantation. It’s 15 or 20 minutes from town. The sunsets are amazing and breakfast in the morning with French pressed coffee is delicious! Heidi (host) makes her own sourdough! She and husband Dan are naturals at hospitality.

We loved this suite! Eva and Jim, the property owners, went above and beyond any Bed and Breakfast I have ever been to. I have been to many B&Bs and this one is the absolute BEST! I would give them more stars if I could. They had an amazing extended continental breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, toast, pastries etc much more than we expected. The suite is beautifully decorated, with all the comforts of home. They truly have thought of everything down to having beach chairs/boards...

Beautiful room, Awesome Host, and great location.

This was the most amazing place! The Place left me speechless and breathless. It was beautiful, charming and very comfortable. I wish I had stayed my whole trip at this place!!!! Michael was a very gracious host and the food he prepared was delicious. I give this place 10 stars!!

Excellent value for Maui.

Booked this room thru Expedia 10 minutes before showing up at the place. We were warmly greeted by the owners and they assisted us in taking our luggage in. They let us chose between the 2 rooms they had available. They were amazing hosts. They offered us hot and cold beverages and snacks. They even drove us into town and dropped us off. We stayed here for almost two weeks. Kelly was amazing. She was always whipping up different types of breakfasts. She was so cute and so talkative. Her food was really good. (If you are like me however, ask for pancakes or french toast or crepes) she loves to cook Mexican style breakfast but it didn’t always sit right with me. We stayed in the Ohia Ranch Retreat room. This was easily the most beautiful room we’ve ever stayed in. The aesthetic of the stained wood beams, hard wood floors and furnishings was outstanding. There was a real attention to detail. The bed was also tied for the most comfortable bed we’ve slept in and reminds us that we have to replace our bed at home sometime soon. Great hosts! A clean, quiet, and spacious place to stay.

Blonde lady in the gift shop not friendly when checking in and out. She was talking to another male employee about other employees. Discuss business about training modules. Not friendly at all. Did not feel welcomed at all. In fact felt we we interrupting her day and she did not want to be bother with us. Spend a lot of money to stay her and was not welcomed. I wanted to purchase several items in the gift shop and passed.

Loved the profoundly peaceful location, could hike to and swim under beautiful waterfall on site. Only sounds were of nature. 4 miles from funky town of Hilo, which we also really liked. Perfect get-away-from-tourist-crowds Inn. Provides breakfast- could be improved with Gluten-free dairy-free breakfast option but good fresh fruit, waffles, egg souffle. Really enjoyed staying at this unique place. It's quiet and very beautiful stay on an 7 acre farm with Macadamia Nut & Mango trees. The host is really friendly. Definitely recommend this one.

I want to thank Mika and Tammi for the upgrade to the Hibiscus Room. It was my fault that I didn’t document my other guest and booked the smallest room which I thought was cheaper. In the end, I got a really nice view of Haleakala and the Pineapple fields. It was a nice and quiet properly and they were one text away if we ever needed anything. I would highly recommend this property to a friend. Not too far from the places we wanted to go. Truly enjoyed my stay.

If you want a unique experience with then this is the place for you. Volcano Inn is located in the middle of the rainforest, which is amazing. Jon and Lauren were friendly and super helpful. It was a wonderful experience and I will certainly be returning!

A beautiful place run by beautiful people. An amazing mix of being one with nature whilst still having amenities. Its hard to describe so just go there and see for yourself!

The staff was so friendly. There were lots of animals: peacocks, cats, frogs, geese. We loved it! We booked it to be closer to Volcanoes National Park, without realizing there was no road that cuts across. We had to go amidst to Hilo in order to go back down to the Volcanoes, so it wasn't the most convenient, but we loved the vibe!

Eva was great. We spoke a few times. She did have fresh fruit and breakfast items for us. The suite was comfortable.
