"Aloha! VERY disappointed in this place. I live in Hilo and usually stay at the Islander when I come over. The bathroom counter was really dirty and filled with water spots too. The toilet did not stop running, although it did get repaired while we were there. The hallway outside looks like I would picture a locked psych unit in a hospital. Dark green with 70’s green around around it. x It sums it. That a picture of palm trees in the bathroom looked so blurry that it looks like a 5-year old took it from a car window. Also, we walked into the room with three big bottles of booze just sitting on the counter. My friend took them immediately down to the lobby, because we’re both recovering alcoholics. They PROMISED us we wouldn’t be charged. $149 later…..waiting for a return call. The place really didn’t reflect all the add on stuff. The elevators were broken. Just a terrible experience overall! "

"Great place to stay with family! The villas are very spacious and the grounds are well kept. Take a stroll along the scenic botanical pathway and watch the sunset! Note that housekeeping is every 10 days, there are washer/dryer and a dishwasher in the unit. I would recommend to family and friends. "

"It was very comfortable and convenient. We were able to park right below our unit the entire stay. We used the outdoor grill to BBQ. We also visited the pool. Everything was nice and the location was great 👍 "
