A charming, secluded, off-grid, quiet and a 180 degree view of the ocean.

"This place is a unique stay in paradise. The host was friendly and gave great recommendations and communication. The kitchenette was perfect to make dinner and the outdoor shower was a cool experience. Everything was clean and we enjoyed the room. We especially enjoyed waking up and star gazing in the morning and then watching the sun rise over the ocean. Unbeatable view of the sunrise!"

"Beautifully maintained property. Large rooms and perfectly prepared. Don't miss the hot tub. A nice soak out in nature with all the soothing sounds. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful! Going beyond the necessary. I stayed through a passing hurricane and they made certain i was well prepared for any potential problems and even prepared a meal in advance just in case, no charge. I highly recommend the lodge and thankfull to all the folks there!"

"Dragonfly Ranch felt like a home away from home, I stayed in the Lomi Lomi suite which has a beautiful view, all the amenities you need. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. Thank you to the staff!!!"
Chalet Kilauea

"This hotel is more like a rental house than typical hotel. There are only eight or so rooms and each one has nice views with privacy. There is no staff on site but you can contact them is needed. I would stay here again. One thing to consider, you are 30 minutes from most services. If you don’t mind that and want something quiet this is a great option."

"Cute mom-and-pop property in a great location near Volcanoes National Park. It felt more like staying in a little house in the rainforest than a hotel. A little rustic, but in a good way. Hearing the birds and other animals at night made it really special. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!"

"Beautiful grounds and the pool was amazing. The house offers a lot of space to spread out and relax. Our group consisted of 3 couples and 2 singles and everyone had their own rooms. I would stay there again."
