"This was a lovely little home-away-from-home to return to after exploring Hawai’i Island. The host is very responsive. I love the chorus of frogs every evening and waking up to the birds in the morning. A rental car was a must, but the gorgeous ocean cliffs in the drive home are stunning, every time! "

"Howard is such an amazing host. Very responsive whenever we had questions and gave great advice on activities on the island. This place is even better than it looks in the pictures. We were blown away by the size of the bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The covered patios and decks is where we spent so much time in the mornings and evenings after exploring the area. We also enjoyed a few days just hanging out at the house, going for bike rides, playing pool etc. Our girls already asked when we can come back before we even checked out. We will absolutely be back and would recommend this home and host to anyone contemplating on visiting Big Island. "

"Location was remote and simple, exactly what we were looking for. All amenities were perfect for us. Loved the cozy fireplace after long days hiking in the rain. We found the location easy to find. The road to get there is a bit rough, but definitely driveable with a car. The whole place had a sense of peace to it. "
