"Location is great. Super cute, but small cabin. Hot tub did not work very well and didn’t hold its heat. Only 4 towels, 1 dish towel and cloth for 4 people for a two night stay. Only 4 coffee pods for a 2 night stay. Was surprised to find no basics in the kitchen. Salt, pepper or oil. However, those were not promised. Duvet inside cover was very stained and a bit off putting. The cabin had good instructions for most things. I would recommend including instructions for cook top as well."

"The staff helped us get away to our organised tours early by packing breakfast boxes for us to collect before the restaurant opened - really helpful. Hotel is 12kms from the local town, so if you don't want a full restaurant evening meal (provided on-site or at the neighboring farm) then you have to drive that 12kms each time. As we sat in the local pizza place the screen roll on the monitors explained that Iceland is the most expensive country in the world to live in. Travelers need to be ready to deal with that at the hotel, as everywhere else."

"We got upgraded to the studio room and it was the best because we could see the aurora and the stars right from our room so i highly recommend booking the studio rooms for that. Additionally, we loved the hot tub and sauna amenity it was perfect after a long day of sight seeing. Breakfast was also super good and staff were really nice throughout :)"

"The main issue was the shower [room 113] - it was a tiny cubicle and should be expanded to make a slightly larger walk in shower. Any larger person would have difficulty being comfortable in there [and I am not that large] - also, there was nowhere to put your soap and shampoo. Otherwise things were good, helpful staff, decent breakfast and so on."
