The bedroom and bathroom were lovely, the breakfasts amazing, the staff always happy to help and the location just off the A590 was perfect for exploring the whole Lake District. My only rejoinder was that the stairs to the rooms are a little challenging for someone like me who is mobility impaired. Enjoyed a great 3 night stay at the Hideaway. This is a true Bed & Breakfast. Our bed was comfortable and our private bath had been nicely modernized with helpful shelves and racks. The breakfasts were prepared to order from a balanced menu. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Due to the rain we did not get to enjoy the outside sitting area but it looked inviting. The Watermill is an old school gem in a beautiful area of the UK. they brew their own beer in this quaint and cozy area full of hills and streams.

The room was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Several coffee shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance.

This motel is located at a service area so it is easy to park and to get petrol. It was well kept.
