"The lodge was a good size, bigger than we anticipated. There were some items in the lodge that required some maintenance, we told reception and they sent someone round to check these out. They fixed what they could there and then and said they'd sort the rest out once we checked out so as not to disturb us which was fine with us (nothing was critical). The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed."

"First time in Herdwick Lodge after visiting Meadows End four times now. The lodge was amazing, spotlessly clean with all the essentials needed. Very spacious with 2 double bedrooms both ensuite and a well equipped kitchen. Log burner warms up the place nicely on the chilly evenings. Hot tub in a very private position and can be accessed easily from one of the bedrooms or main door, nice to sit in and stare at the stars.
