"The house was clean and tidy. We were there to just sleep and not entertain. I would say that for our family preferences, we’d stay in a more quiet area of the city. This part of Grand Rapids while charming is busier than we expected. This is no fault of the host. Her description of the home and what was included was spot on. It is an old house but VERY charming and cozy. Lots of great coffee shops and eateries nearby etc. Good value and stay overall."

"My wife wanted to see the lantern exhibit at the John Ball zoo the weekend of Memorial Day, so we chose this location to spend the two nights we were there and we could not be happier. The parking space was immediately next to the entrance to the building, with the elevator that took us to our floor right around the corner. "It seems as the owners are new to VRBO. The place was decorated nicely, but the kitchen was not clean, the oven did not work and the kitchen was not well stocked. We found the place late in our search for somewhere to stay for the marathon. It was fine for one night."

"Very convenient location for a downtown wedding - close enough to walk in. Walking route had many drug users and homeless, though, so we usually drove. Lots of noise from upstairs - non-stop barking dog, could hear every footstep. Bed was the least comfortable bed of any place I've stayed in years; between the two, not a great sleep on any of the 5 nights. Neighbors shouting at one another outside at 2am.
