"The location was fantastic! Not overly crowded like a few miles down the beach. The beach was pristine and there were plenty of chairs and umbrellas available. The hotel was very clean and most of the staff was quite nice and accommodating. I only have 2 complaints-I booked a sea view room but had no view of anything. My biggest complaint though is that the bed had to be the most uncomfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on. It was about 2 inches thick and rock hard."

"I couldn’t find a bad thing to say about Ammothines even if I tried! What a wonderful place to stay. It’s a family owned hotel and they make you feel like family when you stay there. Smiling faces everywhere and help whenever you need it. We didn’t eat dinner there, but had breakfast and lunch every day and the food was lovely, probably one of the best chefs at all the hotels in Naxos! The location on Plaka is amazing and you have the option to walk over to the beach to a cabana reserved for Ammothines guests or relax at the lovely pool. The bar is awesome with great cocktails. Marino welcomed us every evening after dinner for a night cap. He made delicious drinks, but more importantly, gave us incredible recommendations for villages and restaurants to visit around the island. We had some of the best food and best experiences because of him! The gardens around the property are stunning. Smells of rosemary and other herbs as you walk the property, so nice! Overall it was an outstanding stay and we will 100% be back. Thank you Ammothines!"
