Kedros Villas

8/10 Good

"Such a lovely, family run property. It is such a quaint setting that feels both remote, and within walking distance to shops and restaurants and easily accessible by taxi or bus to the port area. Highly recommend using the bus system within Naxos. It is easy to navigate and much more cost-effective than taking taxis. This resort certainly could benefit from some updates, but overall it is a lovely property. My only complaint would be not having a proper shower during our three day stay there, but rather a tub with a handheld showerhead. My daughter's shared a bedroom with two single beds. One of the beds had a very uncomfortable spring that was poking her in the back so she opted to sleep on the couch in the kitchen. The pool area is beautiful and having breakfast on site is lovely lots of beautiful, homemade pastries, fresh fruit, and eggs made to order. The kindest owners who were really wonderful to us. If you are looking for a 4 to 5 star resort, this is not it. It is a beautiful, family run business that is a little off the beaten path. If you have any concerns or questions while you are there, though, they will absolutely be accommodated. Don't let negative reviews deter you, just set your expectations accordingly. Thank you for a great stay!"

Nissaki Beach Hotel

"The staff, reception, servers were absolutely wonderful! Fresh towels and water daily. Hotel location is close enough to Naxos town to walk, catch the bus, go shopping and take advantage of additional restaurants etc. There are some beach tavernas right next door if you prefer to not eat dinner onsite, pending how adventurous you want to be. Breakfast was fantastic! You preorder the day before and notate the time you wish to be served. Self service coffee, tea and specialty coffee: flat white, latte, macchiato, just to name a few. Everyday was delicious! We didn’t use the pool or hot tub as we prefer the beach so took the bus to Plaka one day and Ag. Prokopios another day. My only complaint, and maybe somewhat petty, but there are only 2 hooks in the bathroom to hang stuff. It’s somewhat humid, so keeping things in the bathroom didn’t work very well with bath towels, beach towels and bathing suits. We wound up hanging things over the tv monitor and door handles. Definitely not ideal and we were only 2 people. Otherwise, our stay was marvelous and we highly recommend the Nissaki Beach Hotel."

"The stay was very comfortable. Right near the beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The rooftop bar/restaurant was very nice. Finally the receptionist Antonia was extremely friendly and helpful, a real pleasure to speak to. The only negative was the shower which had a rain head which wasn’t working well and needed to be replaced. Oh, and they have onsite parking which was awesome"

"I will definitely recommend this place! We had a wonderful time, and the staff was amazing, especially Maria at the reception. She was so kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The location is perfect, right in front of the beach, with easy access to walking areas and public transportation to explore the island and get to the city center. It was our first time on the island, and we absolutely loved it. I can’t wait to come back and spend even more time here! Highly recommended! ❤️"

"We truly had a wonderful stay at the Naxos Magic Villas. The ambience and vibes of the hotel were 10/10. The staff was extremely helpful and excited to make sure we had a wonderful time as a family with young kids. The only negative point would be the size of bathrooms and maybe we didn’t get the best positioned room. Otherwise it was perfect."
