"Nice quiet location with convenient parking. Clean room and decent bathroom. Shared fridge in the hallway was a bit inconvenient (and some of our drinks went missing). Some restaurants and bars, and groceries, within walking distance."

"The initial contact with reception was negative as the receptionist seemed to have an issue which he kept repeating to me in loud German. After I mentioned Expedia he ruffled through the files, found the paperwork and started speaking in English in a more normal tone. We filled out the paperwork which he provided. "Conveniently located at walking distance from the STR (tram) station Mohnweg, about 25 min ride from the Deutz/Messe Cologne train station. The room was not luxurious, but clean and comfortable. Shower water heats up right away. You need adapters if you come from the US. There is no outlet near the desk. My room was facing the main street, which is very busy. I would ask for a back-facing room unless traffic lulls you to sleep (the window seals the noise out). Breakfast was excellent. Nice...
