"A very nice holiday park, good size and good location for access to the beach, with Tesco express just up the road and only a short drive to Asda. It was quite hot over the weekend we stayed and the bedrooms did get hot, a fan would have been useful with young children as having the windows open was too noisy at that time. The lodge was clean, nicely presented and we would definitely look to stay again."

"We enjoyed our stay and the property was in a good location for us, a short walk from the beach and Bus stops so we didn't need to worry about finding parking. Our only problem was that the stairs are quite steep and, being retired and not in the best of health, my husband struggled with that."

"The property is in an excellent position, close to shops, restaurants and the beach, there was parking outside. The bedding and bathrooms were clean however the carpets and upholstery was very stained/dirty. The fridge door was difficult to open as it has no handle, I realise it didn't quite fit into the space but even a stick on handle on the door would have helped. "A fantastic family home from home although the area not so good the nearby park was full of drunks and druggies so couldnt be enjoyed. The undercover area could do with a face lift as it was very dirty so this let the property down a bit over all a great house just wish we could of picked it up and moved it somewhere nicer."

"We were a little disappointed as we weren’t overlooking river which we obviously misread. The beds were excellent and we enjoyed the quietness of the place. Our dog loved the garden. Nick the owner is brilliant and dealt with a shower problem promptly and was available to ask questions. Would definitely recommend"

"Thimble Cottage is sweet and nicely decorated but was a bit too small for 4 not large adults in our opinion. Easy location to explore delightful Southwold from. It was however rather noisy (bus stop and lovely pop up bakery queues outside main bedroom window from early in the morning, dog grooming parlour immediately behind the tiny courtyard, public bins being emptied at 5:30am in the High St). We were also greeted with an overflowing bin of rubbish in the courtyard from previous guests which...

The house is conveniently located in the village of Rollsby, in a quiet location but still close enough to the main roads leading to supermarkets, pubs and other local attractions. Communication from the owners was both helpful and thoughtful. The house was furnished with everything we needed for our stay (and loads more!) and we were grateful that the owners had also put in the extra effort of adding a Christmas tree, fully laid...

"The house is exactly as advertised, and communication with owner Helen was easy. She answered all our questions so quickly. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the location is close to an outstanding chippy and only a short walk from the high street. I cannot recommend it enough!"
