Continue along the riverside and in just 5 minutes, 500 yards, you will hit the bustling town centre, which is brimming with great restaurants, pubs serving local craft ales, an excellent range of shopping experiences and some memorable tourist attractions. If you want family fun then visit The Derwent Pencil Museum, home to the world’s largest pencil, ¾ mile away, or visit Puzzling Place, which is full of mind-boggling optical illusions, ½ mile away.
