The property is in dire need of refurbishment. Breakfast was very poor. Surrounding area is a bit rough although there is a supermarket nearby. Free buses around the area stop just outside. The staff were absolutely fabulous - incredibly helpful.

Good staff, but understaffed. Facility improving, but much to be done. The entire place wreaks of smoke (weed). My room was large and clean, but stunk. Luckily, an open window with cool air helped with a good breeze.

LThe personal attention was great. all staff were personable and helpful, my room was clean and comfortable except for the desk chair which was stuck in the lowest position.

Scruffy looking reception. Broken furniture in room. Chipped worn and drawers in operable. Broken window. Badly stained rug. Exhaust fan in bath not working. Had to ask for blanket. Did not provide face tissues. 4 day stay and no housekeeping. On the plus side people were friendly.

We were grateful for the freezer to put our fish in. The shuttle to the airport was great. The lobby area and the out side of the building need some TLC. The dumpster area was gross. Owners need to dump more money into remodeling.

We were told by many locals that the hotel is in the worst/least safe area in the town. The lady who checked us in was great, the hotel itself is quite old. I would not stay here again. Pay more and stay up the street a ways.

Staff was friendly. Bedsheets were stained, but clean. Our room was cold, the furnace didn’t work, and bedding consisted of a sheet and the decorative top piece. We were in a room for 4, but only had 2 towels. We asked to switch rooms due to how cold it was and they happily obliged, but that furnace didn’t work either. We settled for 2 of the fleece blankets, but even that didn’t help. Breakfast was mediocre at best - a couple different cereals, frozen eggo waffles, bagels, some fruit, and that’s it. I wish I were kidding.

Much to discuss but this is Ketchikan and not a boutique hotel - I get it. Difficult to understand the non-English speaker staff. The secure luggage room is left... unsecured. The vagrant/homeless/tweaker population in the parking lot woke us during the night. Rusty corners in the room and it smelled like b.o. The breakfast was unorganized and very dirty. Good thing McD's and Safeway right next door. Great few of nature out the window but for a short stay and low expectations this is acceptable.
