"If you are looking for a no fuss, budget friendly stay to explore the FLX region, this place is for you. While it might not be fancy it was the perfect place to get a good night's sleep after long days at wineries or on the trail. The location is perfect if you are driving to near-by stops like Corning or Ithaca."

"My wife and I needed an affordable hotel for quick stay over on our way back from Niagara Falls. We lucked out finding this place on the route with most of the affordable options sold out. We checked in at 9:30pm so we didn't need amenities and we left before breakfast time, so cannot comment on the options. Our overall experience was very pleasant. The hotel is well maintained. The room was small but very clean and current. There were a lot of options on the TV and channels were very sharp. Staff members were very friendly. I would recommend this hotel."

"The lake view was beautiful, the room was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure (that’s a big deal for me)! It was quiet and there were very few people staying there. It was so relaxing. We will definitely stay again."

"Hotel room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower delivers hot water-adjustable temperature! Hotel doesn't have an elevator only stairs. Breakfast was ok. Boiled eggs, waffles, bread, yogurt etc. Very courteous staff. Lot of parking!"

"I loved the balcony and the view on the lake also a deck with chairs and fire pit for everyone to use it. Rooms were clean. Staff was very nice. Its a busy hotel so if you want eat dinner dont wait until they ran out of the food like we did."

Best Western Plus The Hammondsport Hotel

"Rooms are nice sized and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is very close to town but there was nothing noteworthy nearby. On the negative side the buffet breakfast was undermanned and under supplied due to staff sickness. The heating system quite noisy but word has it that new units are waiting for installation. My thoughts are that it’s worth another visit for sure but I would not be too forgiving if they under deliver again."
