Located in Key Colony Beach, this home for six is located on a canal, with swimming and fishing available in your backyard - you even have a bait freezer. There's no better way to beat the heat than a swim in the emerald green waters of the Gulf!

Plop down on a colorful couch and take in some cable on the flatscreen TV, or keep up to date with the WiFi.

Whether you stopped for groceries at a nearby store or a fresh-caught fish just waiting to be cooked, you'll be well-served by the stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. Dine at the nearby table for six, and leave clean up to the dishwasher!

Six guests can enjoy this home's two bedrooms and bathrooms, along with two of your canine companions (please note there is a 20-pound weight limit). The master bedroom has a king-size bed, while the kids can relax in the two double beds in the guest bedroom. Wake up to a soothing shower and start a load of laundry in the private washer/dryer!

Downhome Cabin was perfect for us. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It had a bright and cheerful interior The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of dishes and pots and pans. The yard was neat and clean and the docking spot was very well done. We have stayed at several places in the Keys and this was the best. Vacasa did a good job of simplifying check in.

We had a group of 4 and everyone had space. The bedrooms are nice and big. Also the sitting area was comfortable. We had a tub valve that needed repair, and the service agent was very easy to work with and they had the plumber there the next day.

Excellent location. The home was better than described only needs a little TLC on the exterior. Very roomy and comfortable. Home fully equipped on all levels. It’d be nice if it had a small pool especially after coming in from fishing to relax. Will definitely rent again. Must say though the boat ramp at Key Colony can use improvement not clean nor well maintained. Our family getaway was awesome with lots of fishing.

Great location. Easy access to pool and beach club. Manatees right in the canal in the backyard. Backyard could use an umbrella- no shade. Air conditioning was definitely underwhelming on 90 degree days. Couches and chairs very uncomfortable, no beach chairs and only one fishing rod available. Seemed to be an ant issue as well.

We have rented this house 6 times and plan to be back, but reported a broken microwave on our first day of a week's stay and no communication and not fixed which was disappointing - not acceptable but must say our only negative experience thus far with vacasa over years but expect more.

What we love: Includes the Cabana Club (a MUST have imo) Convenient location Loved that the home is Pet Friendly with tile floors Kitchen well equipped Home has a washer and dryer in a laundryroom Propane Grill provided TV in every room with cable Bait freezer New central a/c and ceiling fans "Could be" CONS: "beach house furnishings" perfect for us, but not new or upscale if that's what your looking for. Does not offer amenities like bikes. Outside area could use some shade (umbrella?) and dining table is small with 4 cheap plastic chairs. Not very comfortable, however there are 4 plastic Adirondack chairs and two lounge chairs. Inside has a wide step down to the kitchen /dining area that may not be the best for small children imo. I would give this home a "5" if the yard area was upgraded just a little...

Great location in Key Colony! Easy walking distance to Cabana Club with pool and beach, Havana Jacks restaurant, golf course and tennis. We brought our boat and were able to take it oceanside daily as its right around the corner, Gulf side is not much further. My teenage boys loved the 9 hole golf course and went often. You can rent clubs and play in about an hour. Vacasa management was excellent! We arrived on Sat night and the fridge wasn’t cold and the grill didnt work. They had someone out first thing Sun morning, brought us a brand new grill, 2 mini fridges and the refrigerator repair man. No problems after that. They even came and put our trash cans out and back. The home itself has no frills, definitely not fancy but we spent most of our time out on the water so we didnt care. The kitchen was very well equipped and the 60 foot dock was great. I paddle boarded daily. The only real complaint was the beds…. Definitely need to be replaced!!

King bed was horrible. Blender was broke but Vacasa brought a new one right out. Cabana club was kind of a joke, too many rules, lady you check in with was a control freak, too many people, no shade, expensive and they don’t let you bring anything in including water. House was old but somewhat updated. Could use some bikes, lounge chairs, etc. manatee in canal was neat to see.

Pros: Location, location, location. You’re able to walk to Havana Jacks, Cabana Club, Key Colony Inn Tavern/Restaurant. Close boat ride to KCB marina and Vaca Cut for gas. The space was nice, spacious living room and the kitchen had all the cooking utensils we needed. The boat dock was also great! AC worked great and overall the bones of this place is great. Cons: the place needs maintenance. The beds need replaced badly. They are slanted and make the loudest noise. You’ll wake yourself or anybody in the room up when you move. We never had a really good nights sleep. :( There were ants in the kitchen. There wasn’t a great outdoor entertainment area. The water hoses outside were broken which we needed to hose off our boat. We struggled getting it to reach the driveway after we took our boat out. We also weren’t left with enough trash bags or TP for a 1- week stay (5 people). Bring your own laundry detergent as Vacasa only leave you with 3. And we were doing laundry daily after fishing/swimming. Important note: if your renting any place in KCB for the cabana club membership — pass. It was whack and had so many rules. It’s NOT kid friendly and their food was not great. The best thing about that club was talking to one of the guys working there who was an avid fisherman who told us about a great spot (Bamboo Banks) for fishing. We had a great fishing day after he told us about that spot!

This house was great! Plenty of room, renovated baths and kitchen, great laundry rm with bait freezer, all tile floors. It was very clean, lots of storage, and well stocked. Dock was in great condition and included a ladder and fish cleaning table. 2nd bedroom could use new mattresses and management was passing that suggestion onto the home owners. Great communication. Location is perfect.

Perfect location, close to everything. Loved the farmers market on Tuesdays. The house was spacious with plenty of storage. The back patio could use some work, but it was still nice to sit by the water. Recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay. The beds are a bit on the very firm side and very limited parking. But, the location was perfect for fishing, with very quick access to both the Atlantic and Gulf side.
