Enter this inviting open floor plan with incredible natural lighting throughout. Three sets of French doors take you from the living/kitchen space out to the outdoor entertainment area, consisting of a private heated lap pool all to yourself, propane gas grill, swing set, outdoor dining for 4, additional outdoor seating and pool loungers. Wood flooring, high ceilings and breezy ceiling fans in each room will keep you cool and refreshed on a sultry summer's day. Whip up your favorite family meals together in the gourmet kitchen that comes with gorgeous granite countertops, custom cabinetry, updated stainless steel appliances and dining for 6. 

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS...
The downstairs guest room comes with a queen size bed and a private porch. There is a full bathroom just outside of this bedroom with a walk in shower. Upstairs you will find the king master bedroom with an en suite full bathroom that comes with a desirable claw tub, walk in glass shower and washer/dryer set. Adjacent to the master bedroom is an enclosed, air-conditioned Florida room with cozy seating which then leads you out to an additional outdoor, covered balcony with incredible views of the lush tropical pool area. Steps down the hall is another guest room with a queen size bed, an en suite full bathroom with a shower/tub combination and a private, covered balcony area. The colorful, teal-tiled poolside cottage comes with a queen size bed and an en suite full bath with a shower/tub combination, and it is air-conditioned. All bedrooms are equipped with a flat screen TV and ample closet space including the guest cottage.

Cool your senses and quench your island craving with this magnificent outdoor space that offers your own exceptional private poolside lounging space. THIS POOL IS ALL YOURS--YOU DO NOT SHARE IT WITH ANYONE ELSE! Take advantage of the additional outdoor dining space for being able to enjoy your fresh catch of the day in the evening hours followed by swimming under the stars.  This community’s quaint pathways are just a few steps away from all the island's main attractions.

PARKING...
This home comes with one covered parking space. No trailers, boats, jet skis or motor homes are allowed. No vehicle length over 18’ long, including trailer hitches, or 80” wide is allowed on property. Additional vehicles may park in the Opal Key Resort parking garage just a five minute walk/drive away.

PETS...
Pets are ONLY permitted for a month stay with a $400 pet fee. Please provide pet size, breed and age upon booking.

For monthly reservations, the following fees will be added PER MONTH:

BOOKING DATES...
This home is only available as a monthly rental (28 night minimum) as of Dec 23, 2025. We prefer to book by the calendar month (first day of the month to the last). We may consider alternate dates if the calendar allows or if the owner will make an exception.

Enjoy our concierge service to assist you with planning activities for your trip, from bike/scooter/golf cart rentals to any excursion you can think of including snorkeling and sunset cruises, jet ski rentals, parasailing, kayaking, fishing, paddle boarding and much more. CANCELLATION...
Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 100% refund. Bookings canceled at least 14 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% refund.

Excellent location!

There were 8 adults in our group and this property was the perfect setup. We had plenty of room and enjoyed our porch and pool time so much! It was our first time to Key West and the proximity to everything was even better than we had hoped! The property manager responded immediately the few times that we had questions. Beautiful home and area. 5 stars!times that we had questions. Five stars!

Amazing week at the Beach House!

What a beautiful home with plenty of room, an amazing pool, and all of the amenities you could ask for! Super safe neighborhood within walking distance of Duval and all of the fun Key West has to offer. Would definitely recommend to anyone! Great communication from the host!

The property was very nice especially the pool. Location was terrific. The ice maker didn't work but Brian (property manager) took care of it very quickly. The major concern was lack of hand rails leading from the veranda to the pool area and also into the pool - we were an older group (60+ years) so it was an issue.

Beach House in Truman Comple Key West

Overall found the property desirable; however, there were a number of minor issues. The pool was amazing; however, I needed to clean it everyday before using it as the pool is open and there was a daily deluge of vegetable matter. This is a luxury listing so we were disappointed by the scanty supply of institutionally thin and tiny personal items and TP. Expected top notch products in a luxury listing. The location is the best possible. We could walk everywhere that anyone wanted to go in Key West. The pool deck is hazardous and needs repair. There are other minor repairs that are needed. A week of intense focus would make this property outstanding. I would gladly stay there again, despite these minor concerns.

The best of multiple KW trips

Dan, property manager, is the hardest working and most attentive manager that we EVER had the pleasure of working with in KW. Dan answered our questions about gate entry, tv access, getting cutting board and a knife block. Dan also got my overnight mail and did everything with a smile and promptly. 5 stars would be an insult to Dan.The property concierge arranged a trip to Cuba for five of us and scheduled a private boat trip around KW with an extremely knowledgeable captain, that I would highly recommend. The captain recommended a nature garden at Higgs Beach that we had NEVER discovered. We went and it was a trip highlight. We will go again in January and take a picnic lunch with wine which is allowed!

Location, location, location!

This beautiful property is as advertised. The house itself is spacious, very well maintained and very well equipped. The pool is larger than it appears and a refreshing place to relax with the family. While the home is wonderful, the location is perfect for Key West visitors. I have made several trips and walked all over Key West from different locations. This home is five minutes walk from Duval St. and 15 minute walk to the beach or the docks. You will not find a better home base for your vacation. Lastly, Brian the property manager is courteous, knowledgeable, and ultimately focused on you having an issue free stay. Brian is a great representative for the team. I cannot recommend this property any stronger than I have, you will be rewarded if you choose to trust your vacation to this property. Thank you again for a wonderful week.

Fabulous Property in Old Town

Everything about this house exceeded expectations. Perfect location, walk to everything, safe clean and secure. However, we were not told this was in a gated community and that you needed keys to get in or out through the gates after 6 pm. This was fine, but it took us a few days to figure that out, and that the keys on the house ring were also for the gate access, and they didn't work. We had many troubles going in and out through the gates all week and generally had to wait for other people coming or going to get in. Better communication upfront is highly recommended.

ONE WORD - AMAZING!

Everything about this house was amazing. From the time we stepped through the gate to the time we left, our group of seven loved every single thing! There were 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms in the main house and 1 bedroom and 1 full bath in the guest house. There is a heated pool in between the house and the guest house which we spent a great deal of time in - in January! Coffee, creamer, soap, dishwashing tablets, detergent, spices, dishes, playing cards, games, puzzles, etc were provided! There wasn't a thing we needed that we couldn't find in the house! The location was also perfect. The house is located within a gated community less than two blocks from Duval Street and about two blocks from Mallory Square! My husband and I were also able to walk to the Ernest Hemingway house, the Southernmost Point and Fort Zachary Taylor Park easily. The only place we drove to during our stay was to the grocery store. We will definitely stay in this house again the next time we visit Key West!

Fabulous family vacation. The beach house was perfect for our family. Spacious, clean and cozy. We enjoyed spending the majority of our time outdoors in the pool and relaxing on the porch. Easy and fast communication with the host. The beach house was nicely furnished with everything we needed. The concierge assisted in planning many water sport activities and delivered provisions to the home upon our arrival. Highly recommend and will return for a future stay!

Perfect Truman Annex Getaway for Families

My husband and I stayed for a week with our twin 7-year old, my in laws, and their teenage special-needs daughter. The property manager was responsive and accommodating, and the house was super clean upon arrival. The pool was a big highlight, and our kids swam with their grandparents in it multiple times a day. Everybody had enough room, and it was nice to have a somewhat separate living space for two adults in the pool house. The location truly can’t be beat, with everything either a walk or quick bike ride away. This was our fourth family trip to Key West (and our fourth time in the Truman Annex) and this place was a true gem among all the other properties we’ve rented.
