"Damp and smelly room. This hotel certainly has a moisture and humidity issue at least on the first floor where I was . Staff was friendly . Hotel badly in need of renovations and repairs ."

"This property was very nice. Is very well maintained the room was one of the cleanest we've ever stayed in. Staff was very helpful and nice. The beds were comfortable and it was very quiet. And the restaurant bar that is in the parking lot from the property was very nice also. The food was delicious and the staff there was also awesome, and they had fun karaoke. Would definitely stay here again"

"Well we arrived only to find they didn’t have our reservation! Annoying to be sure but they did find us a room. They claim it was Expedia fault??? Whatever, we love staying there. Very nice"

"Somehow I didn't reserve an accessible room. So we were on the second floor. Please note there is no elevator. My husband, who has issues, wasn't happy with the second floor. They moved us to the first floor for the second night with a walk-in shower. They went above and beyond for us. For that we are appreciative. The area was quiet as was inside even though they were full. The breakfast is okay. It said continental, so we knew what it would be. Cereal, bakery, bread and bagels, coffee and juice. The place is clean, impressively so. Parking was right outside."

"Ramada in Cumberland is a favorite among bikers and railfans. It is across a road from the Amtrak station and a short walk into the center of town or the Western Maryland RR with its mallet steam locomotive 1309 (make sure it is running by visiting their website). The hotel is old but the staff and the people who stay there are friendly. The breakfast is functional. Overall the Ramada is an economical way to see the beauty and history of west Maryland."

"This is a storybook property. If you have kids, they will love it. If it's just adults, it will still delight you.It's like Dave and Pearl anticipate what you will enjoy and make it easy.I would love to tell you more, but I feel like it ruins the surprise. Have no doubt, just book and enjoy."

"If you are travelling by bicycle, this is the place to stay in Cumberland! You won't be the only cyclist and the staff is very accommodating of bikes, including a bike-cleaning station just outside the hotel. We had fun talking with other cyclists doing the C&O and GAP trails while eating a good free breakfast."
