American Pines Cabins are located on a mountain meadow surrounded by the Black Hills forest with Battle Creek running through the property. Each cabin has 2 bedrooms, each with 1 queen bed, sofa sleeper in the living room, fully furnished kitchen, & bathroom with tub/shower combo.
Enjoy relaxing on the deck while BBQing, watching the children play on the playground, trying your luck at gold panning in the creek, or making S'mores over the firepit as you watch the stars come out. Wake up to deer right outside your bedroom window & start your day with a brief hike up to Ingersoll mine just 1 mile away from your front door to view a piece of Black Hills history. Discover more with the Walking Tour of Historic Keystone. Spend your days sightseeing at Mt. Rushmore, drive through the scenic Needles Highway, hike to the top of Black Elk Peak, or explore one of the many underground wonders including Rushmore Cave, Wind Cave, or Jewel Cave. View live Bison in Custer State Park, drive through wildlife park at Bear Country USA, & view the largest private collection of reptiles, including Maniac, the largest captive crocodile in North America at Reptile Gardens & then return to a quiet evening back at the cabin, just 15 minutes from most major attractions in the Black Hills. Amazing Cabin
We had an amazing stay! Cabin was cozy, clean, and perfect for our family of 6. Queen bed in each bedroom and pull out couch bed. The playground and basketball court was a hit with our 4 kids! Hosts were friendly, responsive, and helpful! Highly recommend and would stay here again!

small, well managed
These are truly mini cabins. fine for 2 people, short stay. Three drawers in the cabin, all with kitchen stuff. no dishwasher. bedrooms are small. If more than 2 people, best to keep all but tomorrows clothes in your vehicle. pretty dim mostly overhead lighting. no dishwasher, galley kitchen. the bathroom is off the kitchen, access is tight if someone is in the kitchen. 4 adults? They best be very good friends and have lots of good outside weather..

Battle Creek Cabin
This place is really nice. Spoke with a person staying next to us that they come there to stay when in the area he tried to get our cabin #5 but they told him it was the only dog friendly and that I was there with a dog. I can see why they come back to this place have a feeling we will as well
